Duties and Responbilities as Assistant Manager Housekeeping:
Report to Executive Housekeeper
To liaison with the engineering department for day to day maintenance work, to
follow up and ensure completion of the same
To requisition for and maintain stocks of all cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies
To supervise pest control operations in various areas of the hotel
To ensure adherence to DND procedures
To ensure proper handling and record keeping of all master keys of the hotel
To maintain the daily log book and other records, follow up on occupancy reports,
Expected Arrivals and Departures and coordinate clearance of rooms to the Front
Office Department
To handle the Housekeeping desk from time to time as per the guidelines and
procedures laid out
3. To handle guest queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner
To adhere to strict grooming and hygiene standards
To conduct shift wise briefings and assign daily duties to all housekeeping personnel
To check each finished room with special emphasis on bathrooms, bath tubs, W.C.s ,
wash basins, beds, carpets and all other fixtures and furniture
To check all par stocks of linen on floors and ensure timely delivery of linen from the
linen room to the floors
To ensure that all team members report for duty in a timely manner, and are issued
