Rixos Bab al Bahr, Ras al Khaimah is a the first All Inclusive 5 star luxury resort of the
UAE located on the pristine Al Marjan Island in Ras al Khaimah. The recently opened
hotel features 655 keys 14 outlets including 8 restaurants and banqueting facilities of upto
800 pax.
Joined the hotel during pre-opening. Single handedly managing the operations after the
exit of the Chief Steward from March 2014 onwards with team 44 stewards and
controlling operation for 8 ala carte restaurants featuring different cuisines viz Turkish,
Italian, Asian, South American themed Steak house, Seafood amongst others and Room
Service.
Conceived and implemented SOPs, staff trainings, payroll, external supplier/casual
contractors liaison. Successfully altered the pot wash area in compliance with HACCP
and also installed eco-friendly fat tank.
Consistently maintained cleaning supplies and chemical expenditure well below 50% of
the budgeted amount.

Indian restaurant from celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor.
Joined the hotel during pre-opening reporting directly to the Chief Steward, managing a
team of 17 stewards. Played an instrumental role in the hotel obtaining HACCP
certificate in the absence of Chief Steward. I was also responsible for internal hygiene
and sanitation audits in absence of HACCP Manager. I was also responsible for all the
documentation upkeep of all HACCP related documents.
Conceived and implemented SOPs, staff trainings, payroll, external supplier/casual
contractor’s liaison were also part of my responsibilities.

Sofitel JBR is a 5 star hotel luxury located in the heart of JBR featuring 438 keys and 5
restaurant and total banqueting space of 500 pax.
Joined as a steward during the pre-opening phase of the hotel and subsequently got
promoted to the position of Supervisor. Responsible for the general cleaning
of all the back areas complying with Dubai Municipality and HACCP
guidelines. Other responsibilities included making duty schedules, correct
inventory maintenance, planning and assigning staffing for deep cleaning or
such events.
