• Injera bread is made of Teff flour, a grain
whose name is derived from the Amharic
word “yatafa,” which means “lost” in
English.
• It a flat bread with soft texture which
makes it rich in sauces and strews.
• The flour is mixed with water and
fermented for several days for making it
spongy and tangy taste.
• The food is served on top of Injera as it
used as table cloth. It is used for gripping
food.
