Essay Knowledge
Knowledge
Knowledge can be interpreted in many different ways. Some may see knowledge as learned
education. Others may see education as intelligence. None of these perspectives of knowledge
are right or wrong. Every person is entitled to their own definition, source, and use of knowledge
in their lives. I view knowledge as the wisdom and insight that one may acquire over time, by
personal experiences and influences in life. Most of the basic knowledge acquired by people
starting at a young age is in school. As young children, we learn elementary facts such as our
numbers and the alphabet. The older we become, the more facts we are taught, and the more
complex these facts become. The knowledge one may learn in school is what I...show more content...
The television shows we watch and the music that we listen to are huge daily influences on our
lives. They help shape the way we think, what we know, and what we feel. We follow the trends that
television tells us are "in" and say the things that everyone says. We tend to try to model ourselves
after the people on the big screen. The enormous impact that the media and entertainment industry
has on the public grows daily with increasing technology. The internet is one of the newer sources of
both education and entertainment. It is also fairly harmful. Many things that are banned from
television and movies are easily accessible on the World Wide Web, to everyone, including children.
The relationships that we have with people, whether it is co–workers, family, or friends, directly
influence us with every interaction. In the workplace, the people that one may work with affect our
work habits. If a person works in a busy, fast–paced office, he will be used to that type of lifestyle.
But if that same person were to move to a slow–paced, lazy office, he would feel unproductive and
lazy.
At home, the people that we live with, our family, are our first teachers. Home is where we learn
the morals and values that we, as adults, pass on to our children. Our manners and etiquette that are
learned at home are what we bring into the outside world and portray to others. The knowledge and
insight that we acquire from our

Knowledge Sharing Essays
Knowledge sharing:
Knowledge sharing occurs when an individual is genuinely interested to have or to give knowledge
to someone then this process is successful and effective, if a person provided with wrong or vague
knowledge that's mean the knowledge sharing process is stuck over there.
Goh (2002) proposes that knowledge sharers should always share the full circumstances of a case,
not selected circumstances.
Bornemann and Sammer (2003) say:
Knowledge as a resource of value creation, allows for exceptional marginal rates of productivity.
This is due to the major attribute of knowledge: appreciating value with continuing use and sharing
of knowledge instead of depreciating value of tangible products or natural resources (p. 21)....show

It usually occurs when first, employees quit a job without the transfer of their knowledge; second,
existing organizational knowledge is obsolete (because the company temporarily loses its
competitiveness); third, new creative products and services are rendered sub–standard by old
know–how or unprofitable products; fourth, knowledge is incompletely transferred (or selective
individual knowledge is shared and/or the sharing practices are only for some certain individuals);
and fifth, organizational knowledge is difficult to access. This has negative impact on organizational
performance such as the decreased level of productivity, the decay of customer satisfaction, unmet
delivery commitment, inappropriate managerial decision–making and mistaken strategic behavior
(Argote, 1999). This in turn would lead to disadvantage in organizational effectiveness and
competitiveness.
For better understanding of knowledge sharing it is necessary to have looked on Knowledge
Management as this term comes before knowledge sharing.
What is knowledge management?
Knowledge is the method of translating information and past experience into meaningful shape that
is understood and applied by an individual. And to manage the knowledge that is in the minds of an
employee and used it for the benefit of organization is called knowledge management.
A few listed definitions of knowledge management are: "the capability of a company to create new

Essay on Theory Of Knowledge
Theory Of Knowledge In today's society, science is regarded as being the most trusted form of
knowledge, leading to many claiming it to be the supreme form of knowledge. To investigate
whether or not this is justified we must compare science to other forms/areas of knowledge and
consider what they each contribute. The strongest argument science has to claim this title, is the
objectivity and empirical nature of its method and in particular its verifying processes; mainly based
on inductive and deductive reasoning. Modern science is closely related to inductive reasoning and
is presented as a distinctive feature of scientific activity today. Induction works by verification:

The most prolific of these adapted verification processes are the Hypothetico deductive model, a
modern formulation associated with famous scientists such as Popper and Hemple. It works by
using a combination of both verification techniques, claiming that what distinguishes scientific
hypothesis from a non–scientific hypothesis is not its origin, but the formers capacity to stand up to
testing. The name comes from the claim that the starting point is the hypothesis, from which we can
predict that particular events will occur under particular circumstances. This prediction is a
deduction from the initial hypothesis, and if events occur as predicted then the hypothesis is
confirmed. Confirmation of the hypothesis is inductive, simply because if the hypothesis holds true
x number of times, we claim that it always will hold true. This confirmation of the hypothesis
process is the part of the model that encompasses inductive reasoning, as when using this method one
only has access to a limited number of events. Although the Hypothetico model was developed to
incorporate advantages of both types of verifications, by using inductive reasoning as confirmation
processes, it is still affected by the fundamental flaws of inductivism and basic criticism of the
original scientific model. Questions such as, Why is it legitimate to assume that things will continue
to behave as they always
