• The coach assembles the class and take attendance after exchanging greetings.
• The coach asks if there is any sick and injured.

• General warm-up :Players imitates various exercise demonstrated by the coach .
General warm-up is necessary for preparing the body for the upcoming skill learning
activity and also to avoid injury.

SPECIFIC WARM-UP

•skill: Forehand Overhead Straight Clear
•Objective: The aim is to move the opponent to back court to
create more space In front court
•Grip : Forehand GRIP
On stance position knees will be slightly bend, feet according to shoulder width,
arms should be by the side of your body, elbow flexed and look forward and back
erect.
STANCE
PREPARATION / BACK SWING
Bring the racquet at the back between the shoulder . Non
racquet hand should be pointing towards the shuttle
bring the racquet leg one step back simultaneously
making "L" shape between the leg.
Point of contact
• Contact as high as possible, elbow should be straight,
body should be facing towards opponents court,
simultaneously body weight shift to the front forward.
Follow through
Shuffle your Racket Foot forward as you swing your racket forward. After hitting your
stroke, your body should face forward. Your Racket Foot should be in front of your Non-
Racket Foot. Both feet should point forward.
EXECUTION OF SKILL
LEAD-UP ACTIVITY
“BOX GAME”
• It is an individual game where the players play within the given area of the court.
• Player stand an end line and hit the shuttlecock for 6 times on a particular box
and get point .
• Players failed to hit within the allotted area losses a point .
• Players will play under the supervision of coach .
• Winners will be appreciated by Extra marks in exam.
CONCLUDING PART
Re-Assembly : The coach will re assemble the class and show them the variation of drive.
Summarization :The coach will summarize the class with help of volunteers.
Cooling Down :To bring the heart rate in normal condition, reduce body temperature and to
avoid injury and muscle stiffness.
Dismissal : On the word of command ’Dismiss’ players will turn
towards their right side and say loudly
“JAI HIND”
