shop is currently in a declining
industry but wants to expand its
customer base. The main
customer pain point is ”How to
make loved ones feel special this
holiday or make an important
event special?”
 Their target market includes women and
men between the ages of 26-42.
Promotions and advertisement will help get
the brand in the public eye. Also The
Garden Shed’s customers are looking for
quality and convenience. The Garden Shed
Florist will strive to promote the quality of its
work. Also this florist has a convenient
website for ordering or they can call and
place and order over the phone.
 • Register for bridal
shows to expand brand
awareness.
 • Update Facebook and
website to display portfolio
and contact information.
 • Design and distribute
flyers to promote sale and
brand.
 Register for three bridal shows in a six
month period. The goal is to book one
or two weddings or events from
attending these shows.
 Set aside one day to update
Facebook and website with contact
information and portfolios of work and
events. The goal is to draw attention
from different types of customers we
strive to obtain at least 1,000 likes on
Facebook the first month after
updating profile.
 Produce eye catching flyers with 3
coupons, company contact info and
pictures of work produced from the
company. The goal is to bring in at
least 15 new customers a month from
the flyers by mailing them and making
them available at events that our
company attends.

Expanding a Florist's Customer Base

  • 2. The Garden Shed Florist is a flower shop in Clearwater, Florida. This shop is currently in a declining industry but wants to expand its customer base. The main customer pain point is ”How to make loved ones feel special this holiday or make an important event special?”
  • 3.  Their target market includes women and men between the ages of 26-42. Promotions and advertisement will help get the brand in the public eye. Also The Garden Shed’s customers are looking for quality and convenience. The Garden Shed Florist will strive to promote the quality of its work. Also this florist has a convenient website for ordering or they can call and place and order over the phone.
  • 4.  • Register for bridal shows to expand brand awareness.  • Update Facebook and website to display portfolio and contact information.  • Design and distribute flyers to promote sale and brand.  Register for three bridal shows in a six month period. The goal is to book one or two weddings or events from attending these shows.  Set aside one day to update Facebook and website with contact information and portfolios of work and events. The goal is to draw attention from different types of customers we strive to obtain at least 1,000 likes on Facebook the first month after updating profile.  Produce eye catching flyers with 3 coupons, company contact info and pictures of work produced from the company. The goal is to bring in at least 15 new customers a month from the flyers by mailing them and making them available at events that our company attends.
