Ihave held leadership roles in which I have overseen corporate
donations and foundation grant-giving, special events, sponsorships,
cause related partnerships and employee giving/volunteerism. In
partnership with national non-profit organizations such asFeeding
America, the American Red Cross, Wounded Warrior Project and the

11. Winn-Dixie
Idirected strategic community relations, corporate citizenship and event and sponsorship marketing programs,
aligning business objectives with community needs for Winn-Dixie Stores, one of the largest food and pharmacy
retailers in the U.S. Leveraging an $8M annual budget to promote positive corporate citizenship, enhance the
company’s reputation and bring the brand’s new image and major brand initiatives to life, I oversaw events,
sponsorships, donations and employee engagement/volunteerism. I designed strategy, led and developed a five-
person team, oversaw NFL team partnerships and hundreds of community sponsorships, developed a new
company signature charitable cause, managed major cause marketing campaigns, outreach and more in support
of 500 stores and the corporate headquarters.

12. Latka’s Treats
I founded Latka’s Treats LLC, a natural dog biscuit
business that began as a sideline hobby and grew into
a full-time venture. In addition to running the day to
day business, I focused heavily on community
relations, publicity and marketing. Successful
programs included an annual Have a Heart cause-
related marketing promotion, a dog/human Look-
Alike contest in partnership with the Animal Radio
Network, local and national press outreach (including
numerous television appearances), sponsorships of
local events and support for charitable organizations.

I developed and directed a new community offline marketing program for iVillage, which was the leading
women’s internet media company. I was responsible for generating brand awareness and driving traffic via
community relations, cause marketing, sponsorships and promotional partnerships. I developed a national
cause-marketing campaign with The Go-Go’s and USA Harvest, producing a food drive held at 22 concert
venues. I managed sponsorships of women’s events all over the U.S. and developed cross promotions with
entertainment partners such as MGM.

14. ASPCA
I established and led the ASPCA’s new special events program,
planning and producing a series of celebrity-studded fundraising,
public relations and employee engagement events for the
organization’s national headquarters. I launched new events such
as the celebrity-studded ASPCA Dog Walk in Central Park and the
Auction for the Animals at Sotheby’s.
