• Maintain a calm and respectful
manner when you respond to the
pupil to model the kind of behavior
that you expect from a pupil.
3. Constant Avoidance of
Work
• Give students a choice – with
consequences attached.
• Provide take – up time.
• Reestablish the relationship.
4. Fighting
• Conduct initial investigation
• Talk with a witness
• Record initial report
• Forward the initial written report to
the OPSA / APSA for further
investigation
5. Disobedience
• Talk with the pupil patiently and
privately
• Leave the pupil for a while for him/
her to calm down
• Be objective and avoid engaging in
arguments with the pupil
• For severe / intense cases, call for
the assistance from the OPSA –
Discipline or Guidance Facilitator
6. Bullying
( threats, teasing, fooling,
physical abuse)
• Evaluate the seriousness of the
behavior
• Enhance lessons on friendship,
being respectful , and caring for
one another
• Report to the OPSA – Discipline or
Grade level Guidance Facilitator for
follow –up
