Brief explanation about the nature of the data:
We conducted a survey in 50 chosen students of Cavite State University – Imus Campus
to know how interested they are in English and Mathematics subject. We got their final grades
in the said subjects during their 4th year in high school. We want also to know in what subject
that the students excelled.
2. Data gathered:
The final grades of the 50 chosen students in their English and Mathematics subject
during their 4th year high school.
Reason why we gather the data:
*To know how interested the students in English and Mathematics.
*To know where the students excelled most (English or Mathematics).
*To know how they appreciated the two subjects.

9. Findings:
English:
1. There 25 students (50%) got the grade of 86.25% or less in English.
2. There 25 students got the grade of 86.25% or more in English.
3. Most of the students got an average grade of 86.25% in English.
4. Only 6% of the students excelled on their English subject during high school.
Mathematics:
1. There 25 students (50%) got the grade of 84.5% or less in Mathematics.
2. There 25 students got the grade of 84.5% or more in Mathematics.
3. Most of the students got an average grade of 84.5% in Mathematics.
4. Only 12% of the students excelled on their Mathematics subject during high
school.
Conclusion:
Therefore, most of the students excelled in Mathematics. 12% in Mathematics than 6%
in English.
Hence, the average grade of the students in English is higher than Mathematics ( 86.25%
in English and 84.5% in Mathematics)
