6.  Open the PowerPoint file that you will be narrating.
 Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the screen.
(MS Office 2007) PPT

7.  Click on the Record Narration.
 And set the resolution.

8.  Set Microphone level and change quality.
 After that press ok.
 Select Narration start from the beginning slide or first
slide.
 Now you can speak for every slide step by step.
 In Last there is a option for saving.

9.  Open the PowerPoint file that you will be narrating.
 Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the screen.
(MS Office 2010 or above) PPT

10.  Click on the Record Slide Show Tab on the
navigation panel (usually from the beginning)
 A Record Slide Show box will open, Click Start
Recording
 The slide show will open in full screen mode
and begin recording.

11.  You will also see a tool bar in the top left‐hand
side of the screen (see below).
 If at any time you need to stop recording, Click
the Pause button on the recording tool button.
 To begin recording again, click Resume Recording
and the audio will pick up where it left off.

12.  The Repeat Button allows you erase the
current slide and restart the recording from
the slide you have erased
 Once you have recorded content on a slide,
Advance to the next slide by pressing the Space
Bar.
 Proceed with recording all slides and hit Esc to
end the slide show
 Save your Narrated PPT on your Desktop

13. Next Step: Review Recording
 Review all slides to ensure timing is associated with each
slide.
 If no timing exists, audio was not captured.
 To review presentation from beginning to end to ensure
audio and presentation quality, select Slide Show then
from Beginning

14. How to Convert to Video Using PowerPoint
 Open the PowerPoint presentation you’d like
to convert.
 Click on File.
 The next step will differ based on which
version of PowerPoint you’re using. Click on
 Save & Send, in PowerPoint 2010.
 Export, in version 2013 and above.
 Save as Movie, if using PowerPoint for Mac.

 Proceed to the conversion process and wait
for the output video to be created.
