Quick outline of the steps:
Open the PowerPoint presentation to the slide you wish to
narrate &Select insert along the top of the page
Under insert select audio function
If you have prerecorded your audio, you can select the option to
insert an audio file or you can select the option to record directly
in PowerPoint
One you have finished recording you will be able to see a
speaker icon on your screen that you can drag anywhere

Open the PowerPoint presentation to the
slide you wish to narrate
This How to assumes you have already created your
PowerPoint and need only narrate it. Each slide you wish to
speak about will need its own narration. So, these steps will be
repeated for each slide
When your ready to begin open your PowerPoint presentation
and select the first slide you wish to have narration
Along the top toolbar in PowerPoint select the INSERT function

Finding and using the Audio select
function
Under INSERT you can select the AUDIO function
You will be given the option to either use a prerecorded audio file or record
one, (if you have prerecorded your audio insert it here and move on to the
next step)
Press the red recording button to start recording and then press OKAY
when finished.
Once you have hit OKAY , a toolbar you can use to review your audio,
and a speaker icon will appear on your slide. You can drag and drop the
icon anywhere you like on the slide
5. ALL DONE
Now you can repeat these steps for
each slide you want narrated.
