In this lesson plan, the teacher aims to have 11th grade students critique each other's work, create Instagram accounts, and listen to a podcast on Jackson Pollock. To accommodate different learning styles and disabilities, the teacher will use hands-on projects, images from Pinterest, and instructional videos. Students will clear space to display their work for a critique, then make Instagram accounts and upload photos of their pieces while following Jackson Pollock. An instructional podcast on critique and Instagram use will play afterwards. The teacher will prepare the room and technology beforehand and gauge student understanding through class discussion, questions, and checking their participation in hands-on activities.

Day Three: Critique/ Instagram
I. Analyze Learners: In my class, there are twenty students in my eleventh grade class
(eleven of whom are girls, and the other nine are boys). In addition, there are two students
with a learning disability. With all of the disabilities in my classroom, I will incorporate a lot of
hands on projects to go with the lectures in the class room. Allowing my students to learn by
images from Pinterest and Videos.
II. State Objectives: My eleventh grade students will be able to critique other students
work and give good fed back for improvement, along with creating an Instagram and
following the instructions in the podcast by the end of class with 95% accuracy.
III. Selecting Methods, Materials, and Media: In order to accommodate for the various
learning disabilities, I will utilize the following methods, media, and materials throughout this
lesson:
i) Critique: Preparing for the critique, there will need to be plenty of room
for residents to show their work.
ii) Instagram: Students will make a Instagram following Jackson Pollock
and upload an image of their final pieces.
iii) Podcast: For the podcast I will need to have the podcast recorded, set
up, loaded, and ready to go after the critique.
2. IV. Utilizing Methods and Materials: Prior to class I will have the class room cleared out
for the critique, along with the smart board set up for Instagram and the Podcast and
loaded and ready to show.
V. Require Learner Participation: In order to introduce the final lesson, I will inform the
students on how critiques work and how to use and works Instagram.
VI. Evaluate and Revise: In order to assess student comprehension, I will:
• Stimulate class discussion
• have a question to be answered of what they learned from class.
• Circulate around the room to check that all students are being involved in
hands on activities.
