2. How did you use media technologies in the construction, research and planning? Research -For the construction of the production, one of the media technologies we used was imovie. This was what we used in the post-production aspect. We used this to edit all of the footage, and eventually create the trailer. The software included many added tools, special effects, transitions and sound effects that assisted in the development greatly. -We also used the handy-cam camera to film all of our footage. This camera was very easy to use, and easy to upload on to the apple-mac computer. However, as the camera was HD, it was difficult to upload and use on other computers, without using the free software, picture motion browser, which converts files. -Moreover we experimented with the hi-tech slow-motion camera. This was very interesting as it allowed us to film footage and receive shots in great detail, capturing frames we wouldn’t have been able to view without it. However, we decided the slow-motion camera was not appropriate for our trailer.
