3. Poland is a country in Central Europe. It is on the east
of Germany . The Czech Republic and Slovakia are to the south,
Ukraine and Bealrus to the east, and the Baltic Sea, Lithuania,
and Russia to the north.
The total land area of Poland is about 312,679 km2 with over 38.5
million people. Poland's capital and largest metropolis is Warsaw.
The word "Poland" was written officially for the first time in 966.

2006 our school vistited
President of Poland Lech
Kaczyński, who died in
tragic plane crash few
