Pre-school education applies to children
between 3 and 6 years old.
The Polish education system is divided up into
three sectors: Primary, Secondary , Tertiary.
Primary ( starts at the age of 7 to 12)
Secondary ( Pupils attend gymnasium at the age
of 13-16 and after passing the final exam
they go to liceum.
Liceum is an upper secondary school where they
stay for 3 years. The school prepares the
students to enter a university.
Some pupils after gymnasium attend four-year
Technical schools called technikum.
Grades
6 is the best grade
1 is the worst.
Copernicus centre is the largest science centre in Poland, with over 450 interactive
exhibitions in six interdisciplinary galleries.
Born on March 1810, in Zelazowa Wola, Frédéric Chopin, grew up in a middle-
class family. He published his first composition at age 7 and began performing
one year later. In 1832, he moved to Paris, socialized with high society and was
known as an excellent piano teacher. His piano compositions were highly
influential. He died on October 17, 1849, in Paris.
Marie Curie was born
on November 7 ,1867
In Warsow .
Sie tied in1934 from
leukemia in Paris.
 She was the discover
of Polonium and
Radium.
 Marie created 20
mobile x-ray machines
and over 200 stationary
Machines.
She married in 26 th July 1895 Pierre
Curie in the south of Paris.
The Dollhouse Museum hosts a collection of over 120 historical houses,
shops, and rooms for dolls.
The city centre contains the
most important buildings in
Warsaw such as: the
Presidential Palace ,Pilsudski
Square and Ujazdowski Park.
The main touristic attraction is
the viewing terrace on the 30th
floor. In a height of 114 meters
you can have a nice view over the
city of Warsaw.
