, BUT THEY HAVE A DEFINITE VOLUME.
GASES: THEY DON’T HAVE A DEFINITE SHAPE
AND VOLUME.
Matter is all around us
4. Physical changes can happen when we : heat, freeze, bend, twist, stretch or
squash a substance.
Chemical changes can happen when we burn a substance or expose a
substance to air.

5. We can classify mixtures as heterogeneou or homogeneous mixtures. In a
heterogeneous mixtures it´s easy to see the difference substances. In a homogeneous
mixture it isn’t possible to see the different substances.
A mixture is something that contains two or more substances.
6. Natural matirials come from:
nature, plants , animals or minerals.
Manufactured matirial are made
from natural matirials which are
transformed in a manufactoring
process.
7. If we take to many of these natural
resources , they will run out . This is why
it´s important to reduce , reuse and recycle.
We should try to reduce the amount of
materials we use and the waste we
produce. Buy products with little or no
packaging, then put the packaging in the
correct recycling bin.
We can reus plastic shopping bags. We can
clean packaging such as boxes and jars and
use them again.
Recycle mean to make something new from
something we have used.
We can recycle glass, aluminium and many
other things, too.
