2. After following our designs we took the photos on
our set the day of shooting our video. I feel that
we did not plan the photos as well as could have
in terms of lighting and we did not allocate a time
slot when shooting with a full shot list of other
potential photos. After viewing the photos as a
group we felt that they did not look professional,
did not conform to our genre and they was not
suited for a digipack. We then came to the
decision that we would take additional photos in
the studio of broken dolls and teddies which
would link in with our video but this way it would
allow us to create a thorough plan.
5. I feel that the new photos conform much more to
the genre as typically in a dubstep cover there is
usually animation, pattern or objects appose to
people. The photos are also taken in a studio
which allowed us adjust the lighting. When
taking the original photos we were rushed and
could not spend as much time taking photos as
desired therefore making them seem more low
quality.
