1. Album Art Review
For this assignment I will be talking about the album cover to Death of a Bachelor by my favorite band, Panic! At The Disco. This album art is for
their fifth album after all the original band members have left besides Brendon Urie (pictured in the album art), who is the lead singer, songwriter and
now producer for the band.
I am drawn specifically to this album art because there are many different elements of digital art in this cover. Artist Nicole Guice is who helped
make this cover. They took a photo of Brendon at his actual home. You see him on his roof, passed out with no clothes on, above his swimming
pool. It appears to still be dark out, so it looks to be very late at night/very early in the morning depending on how you look at it. After taking the
photo Guice went in and digital drew in details, such as a car crashed into the pool, details of the water, chairs by the pool, fake ripped clothes onto
Brendon, and electrical cords cut in half. This represents the end to a great party that Brendon threw. I think the artist really conveyed the end of the
party well, with the cut cords. In many movies you see someone ending a party by turning off all the lights to the party. So the cut cord is a very good
detail. Otherwise you may have just thought a drunk man crashed his car into the pool. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many songs on this album talk about the end to a party and moving on to a new chapter of life. It's also very personal because you see his real
home photographed on the album art, and we see him mostly naked. In many interviews he mentions how this album is the start of a new band, and I
think you can see this album art as the end to a party and the start of something new. The album art only featuring him is also representing how he is
the only original member left. It is the start of a new sound for Panic! At The Disco, as well as the end to the other three original

2. Case Study : Bruno Mars ' Debut Album
Doo–Wops & Hooligans is Bruno Mars ' debut album which was released on the 4th of October, 2010. The album contains several hit tracks with
varied arrangements from reggae to R&B. It garnered Grammy Award nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album in 2012 while
Rolling Stone referred to it as "the year 's finest pop debut: 10 near–perfect songs." Although majority of the album tracks were composed by The
Smeezingtons, of which Bruno Mars is also a member, some tracks were also products of collaboration with other artists and record producers
including Needlz for "Just the Way You Are." As Bruno Mars puts it during his interview with Pete Lewis,
"Well, 'doo–wop' is a very special word for me", explains an ever–personable Mr. Mars: "Because I grew up listening to my dad who, as a Fifties rock
& roll head, loved doo–wop music. Plus, doo–wop, again, is very SIMPLE! You know, I could get a guitar, play you just four chords, and sing a
thousand doo–wop songs! Because they come from a time back in the day when there were no TRICKS! You just needed a beautiful melody, you
needed a beautiful voice, and you needed to CONNECT! And because to me 'Just The Way You Are' just feels like it fits into that vibe, that's where the
'Doo–Wop' side of the title comes in. But, while the 'Doo–Wop' part is for the women, you also have to remember that I'm a young kid who likes
partying and who gets up to some riff–raff sometimes! Which is in turn represented by the 'Hooligans'

3. Album Covers
Album covers are an important aspect in the music culture and industry. Many album covers vary, depending on the artist itself and music genres.
However, all album covers are meticulously designed to represent an artist's vision and work from their music. Musicians will choose an album artwork
that represents them and their music. BADLANDS by Halsey and True Colors by Zedd are respectable examples of artists who choose their covers
based on their inspirations. These two album covers are well thought of and beautifully created with depth and substance. Music is art, and so are
album covers. BADLANDS is the debut album of artist Halsey released in 2015. The name is referenced as a metaphor to Halsey's deserted and
secluded mind while writing

4. Examples Of Top 5 Albums
It's around that time of year where some of us music enthusiasts ponder what albums we're most thankful for.
The albums you choose doesn't necessarily express that you think they're greatest albums ever made. Of course, some might, but not the majority. If
you're someone that appreciates music as much as myself, then you do this every year around Thanksgiving. Simply because it's always exhilarating to
reminisce about albums and once again experience how they made us feel when we first heard them.
After strong consideration on my part and an intense game of "process of elimination," I've come up with five albums that I'm thankful for. Again, I'll
probably end up doing this every year, but I promise every year they'll be different. Not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For that reason, I could relate to so much of what Jenkins expressed on this album.
How can anyone overlook the moment when they realized who their favorite band or artist was? That moment for me occurred back in Summer of
2009. Phoenix released their fourth studio album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix on May 25, 2009. This upbeat, French indie–pop band changed my life
and the way I perceived music to this day. What upset me after hearing this album is that I had already missed nearly 10 years of their career.
"Lisztomania," is not only their most popular song on this album but also is likely their biggest hit to this day.
"So sentimental; not sentimental, no!/ Romantic; not disgusting yet," sings frontman Thomas Mars on opener "Lisztomania", sounding like a madman
with two tiny creatures whispering into each ear. – Ryan Dombal from Pitchfork
Phoenix typically makes songs about love and they want to ensure that everyone knows that. When this album was released, it was around the time I
entered the dating world and helped me get through some heartbreaks. Without getting too sentimental, that is what helps me relate to so much of
their lyrics on this album especially. "Do you remember when 21 years was old?" sings Thomas Mars on "Countdown." Overall, it's simply one of
those albums for me that can put me in a feel–good mood no matter what's going on and I'll never

A Case Study of The Grey Album by DJ Danger Mouse: Does Copyright Law Inhibit Creativity in Music? The Grey Album Brian Burton aka DJ
Danger Mouse published The Grey Album, his acclaimed mashup in 2004. The Grey Album combined raps from Jay–Z's The Black Album with
instrumentals from The Beatles self titled album (commonly referred to as the White Album). Burton's 200 hours of work paid off and although only

In 2007 the city of New York recognized that 1520 Sedgwick Avenue was eligible for status in the state and national registry of historic sites as the
birthplace of hip–hop. However, the story is much more complicated than that; although Clive Campbell aka DJ Kool Herc made a name for
himself, it would not be until 1974 when Campbell extended the break of a song, "and when I extended the break, people were ecstatic, because that
was the best part of the record to dance to, and they were trippin' off it." The technique of isolating the instrumental tracks was popular in Jamaican
dub music, however Campbell was the first to use two identical records to extend the break. This "beat break" separated Campbell from other DJ's and
set – what would later be called – hip–hop apart from dub. DJ Afrika Bambaataa describes the beat break as, "that certain part of the record that
everybody waits for – they just let their inner self go and get wild," In addition to the beat break, Campbell also helped introduce toasting – an early
precursor to rapping in which an MC speaks over music – to the genre; toasting was used by Campbell's friend Coke La Roc at the Sedgwick

6. Album Analysis: Crash Essay
Dave Matthews Band's album Crash was their second major–label release and debatably one of their most popular albums, as well. The band is made
up of multiple brilliant musicians consists of the violinist Boyd Tinsley, carter Beauford the drummer, Dave Matthews the main singer, as well as,
guitarist, bassist Stefan Lessard, and finally Leroi Moore playing the saxophone (Dmb Tour Members). Dave Matthews Band was started in early 1991
and has only grown bigger and better throughout the years making them a statement band in our society. The twelve song album bounces from upbeat
to mellow songs in a perfect blend that fits together so outstandingly.

This song is also about society being too greedy and never being satisfied with what they have and always wanting more.
"#41" is named so because it was the forty–first song the band recorded. It's about Dave losing someone you love and wanting them back. Dave is
saying he knows she might need some time but he's ready and tries to go slow, "I'm coming slow but speeding," but his feelings are too strong and he
will do whatever it takes to convince her even if it hurts him in the end (Lyrics). It also references his rise to fame and people coming to him for that
rather than the music.
The sixth song on the album is "Say Goodbye" expressing Dave's desire for a friend. Throughout the song he's talking about taking this relationship to
the next level even though he knows that everything will change after this night, but he's trying to convince himself that it won't.
"Drive in drive out" features Dave singing with a much raspier deeper voice then most the other songs. This song references an on again off again
relationship. This is apparent in the line, "Drive in drive out, I'm leaving, drive in drive out, I'll come back again", as in he leaves the relationship
(drive out) and then comes back to it again (drive in) (Lyrics). It also showcases the band's drummer Carter Beauford's phenomenal musical talent.

8. Kanye West 's New Album
Kanye West's new album is soon upon us and fans have high hopes. Apparently, it will not only be the album of the year but the album "of the life."
For a self–proclaimed God, this might not be the craziest statement to make. Of course, Ye's claim of divinity is dubious at best. As a human being,
Kanye has consistently released commercially successful and critically acclaimed albums. Will the new release be the best album "of the life" or just
pretty good? Could it even be a rare misstep for Kanye? We will find out soon enough.
In the meantime, let us take a look back at Kanye's storied musical career. The following list will examine one song from each of Kanye's major solo
album releases.
1. Through the Wire
Year: 2004
Album: The College Dropout
Notable line: "And I still won't grow up, I'm a grown–ass kid."
"Through the Wire" symbolizes Kanye's transition from a producer with a dream to legitimate MC. The track opens with a pitched up Chaka Kahn
sample, "Through the Fire," alongside a lively beat. On the track Kanye is literally rapping through the wire. The rapper's jaw was wired shut after a
horrific traffic accident in 2003. Recorded while Kanye recovered, the song represented something new for hip hop. It is a clever and funny song
chock–full of cultural references. The production is soulful and complex. Kanye set himself up us as a figure between worlds. He was a new kind of
rapper that looked forward, but also respected the past. "Jesus Walks" may have

12. 'The White Album' By Johan Didon
The White Album essay was composed all through the time of 1966 till 1971, that captured the American social violence, Didon encountered at the
time. However, Johan Didon purposely tries to utilize places, things, individuals, and occasions in the essay by the sharing of adventures. The first part
of "The White Album "started with the portrayal of her own involvement with mental examinations. On the other hand, Didion's fifteen section was
divided on why she couldn't communicate to tell stories, so she could survive. For instance, she couldn't locate an account to associate the pictures
standing up to her when she stayed in Hollywood. Didion observed occasions as the Manson packs murders, a recording session by the entryways, the
took visits to Huey Newton and Eldridge Cleaver, and an understudy strike at San Francisco State. Although, none of these encounters held together to

In "The White Album," Joan didion spends much time discussing the state of her health during the latter part of the 1960's. Why is Didion's health
relevant to the essay, and how does she use her physical condition to capture the zeitgeist –– or the spirit of the age or time –– of that moment in
history?
Joan Didian's The White Album is a collection of stories based on the authors personal experiences during the 1960s. These stories function as a

Grace, the only album released by artist Jeff Buckley, due to his untimely death, contained a number of his original songs as well as some covers.
This album released in 1994, sold "only modestly but was warmly received by critics" (Simon and Schuster, 2001), and gained Buckley immense
respect as an artist. His song "Lover, you should've come over" was evidence that Buckley was a talented artist who was not only an excellent
performer but an excellent songwriter who could craft melodies and words as well. '"Lover" is essentially a soul ballad" (Beviglia, 2014), with
moments of intensity and moments of release as well. Through analyzing this song one may begin to explore the song's virtual experience also known
as the "story, or narrative of a musical work" that is "influenced by the artist' perspective" (Sellnow, 2007), as well as the virtualtime, and understand
the overall message and congruency or incongruences of the song. "Lover" by Jeff Buckley is a song with an interesting message due to its hopeful
lyrics and soulful tone and instrumentation, which create a congruent depiction of the message. Jeff Buckley's song "Lover You Should've Come Over"

It's been five years since Brooklyn based duo and pioneering synth–pop darlings MGMT released its snoozefest self–titled album. Considering the
sound of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser has deteriorated ever since its stunning debut album Oracular Spectacular, expecting a
revelatory follow up to its 2013 project seemed farfetched. While I was pleasantly surprised by the first three singles of MGMT'S latest album Little
Dark Ages, hesitancy remained as I delved into the entire album, but color me shocked, because the duo's latest installment is the delightfully
brooding apex of a polarizing music career. Once widely deemed as mere shells of psychedelic overlords Animal Collective, MGMT has finally toned
down the dated sensibilities of psych–pop and alternatively zeroes in on a darker atmosphere that was only briefly examined in the duo's last album.
With this in mind, MGMT manages to path a harmonious road where Oracular spectacular and the self–titled album meet–a balance that embraces the
outfit's early–career danceability and its expanding grip on darkness.

Exhibition Overview:
Among the many fabulous pieces of art housed at the DMA, there lies a hidden gem that has yet to be on display. The Album of La Revue Blanche, a
collection of prints commissioned by the late 19th century Parisian anarchist journal, provides not only an insight into popular fin–de–siГЁcle French
print culture, but also a beautiful case–study in the techniques developed by leading artists in the realm of fine art lithography. It is the goal of this
exhibit to explore the place of the graphic arts in early modern art through the example of this journal, and to examine more closely the stylistic
hallmarks of the lithograph in a more detailed way.
Lithography: Method
Lithography is planographic printing process that makes use of the immiscibility of grease and water. In the lithographic process, ink is applied to a
grease–treated image on the flat printing surface. Non–image areas hold moisture and repel the lithographic ink. This inked surface is then printed by
means of a special press as in most fine–art printmaking . The earliest–though no longer the only–method of creating lithographs involved the use of a
block of porous limestone. An image is drawn with "tusche"– a carbon pigment in liquid form, and "litho" crayon – a type of grease pencil– before the
printing surface is fixed, moistened, and inked in preparation for printing. The printing itself is done on a press that exerts a sliding pressure, and
because it undergoes virtually no wear in

It is often produced in unexpected places by designers of things for sale in the marketplace of the moment which nonetheless have lasting aesthetic
value: American vernacular art.
Of course the raison d'etre of the jazz album is to provide listeners with reproductions of jazz performances. But it is also true that at its best the jazz
record––especially the 12–inch LP but occasionally the early cylinder and the heavy (at first one– sided) pancake platter of yesteryear and even the 7–
or 10–inch recording, and the CD of our own era––can be such a perfect package that it looks and feels just as jazzy as the music itself. The truth is
that sometimes the entire package (cover art, liner notes, disk, and label) actually outswings the music it is meant to complement. In some cases one
keeps the record only for the sake of its beautiful wrappers and writings! But when all of a jazz album's artistic values are high, music and package
alike, the listener/observer/holder/reader has access to an aesthetic experience that is deeply and uniquely satisfying.

worth ten thousand words". Whoever may be viewing the picture, or whatever the picture may be, there will always be a wide description of thoughts
on its details. In Drake's 2013 album cover Nothing Was the Same, Drake has the idea of bringing his two worlds of past and present together. Drake's
album cover is difficult to understand, yet through Drake's history, the details in the cover, and the reasoning behind the creation, the cover seems to all
tie together. This is because he wants to show his fans that even though the music of his past has not met his expectations for sharing his stories; he will
not quit. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The lyrics in each of his songs in the album relate to the album cover because they talk about the struggles he had to overcome as a kid in order to
get to where he is today. This cover makes me think of determination because of Drake's persistence on wanting his fans to understand the lyrics to his
songs. Though little is actually in the picture, the image itself contains a wide variety of information. One of Drake's most iconic songs to date
"Started from the Bottom" truly illustrates his struggles while growing up in Toronto. All of this lead to his successful future as a rap and hip–hop
artist today. Drake portrays his statement of his desire to share everything on himself in his album, by the transformation of himself from the front to

Meat Loaf's album 'Bat Out Of Hell' was released in 1977, and is considered by many as an iconic album cover. In 2001, it was rated 71st in Q
Magazine's listing of 'The 100 Best Album Covers of All Time'. Singer Meat Loaf and composer Jim Steinman commissioned the cover artwork from
the renowned comic artist Richard Corben, best known for his sci–fi and fantasy work. Corben's illustration effectively advertises the album 's contents
to the target audience as well as creating the beginnings of a visual identity for 'Meat Loaf'.
The illustration was designed to fit the size and shape of an album cover measuring 12.375 inches square. The original artwork was painted on a 24
inch square canvas board using oil and acrylic paint. Designing an illustration to fit these precise dimensions can be challenging as you are limited by
both size and shape, which restricts the composition.
It is difficult to illustrate 'the shifting moods, and the emotional range' (THORGERSON, Storm, Aubrey POWELL and Design Richard EVANS.

Coben worked around this problem by focusing on the album's title track and main hit single 'Bat Out Of Hell '. Despite Corben focusing on one song,
the artwork reflects the Gothic heavy metal tone of the entire album. By concentrating on the one song Coben has created a very powerful, eye–catching

Album Review– Ralphy London –Fifteen Winters 2 Consistency is key. Ralphy London's latest mixtape Fifteen Winters 2 proves that he knows what
his audience wants. Fifteen Winters 2 keeps the sound that has gather London's a his loyal fans. His sound has that 90s east coast hip–hop influence
that also includes his own new voice. Although, his sound is amazing you are hoping for some evolution on his music. Fifteen Winters 2 is a great
album but you don't see any improvement from his previous projects. Ralphy London drop an impressive project. One of the best things about
London is his ability to switch his flow from one track to another. Tracks like Slang Talk and No Chumps are good examples of how he showcases
his flow. An amazing example of this skill is Smell That Coke. He delivers great punchlines in a incredible beat. The track has a 90s hip–hop style that

Some of the more legendary tracks are 100 Times and No Straps. These are tracks that the listener can really vibe out to and feel like taken on a

delivery are in perfect sync. This track is so groovy that it makes you feel riding in a Cadillac with the top down like a total player. London also
shows his political views with lines "You support Donald Trump/ you a chump and you need to get crack in your jaw" on the track Rips. One of
the biggest records of this album had to be Young Ricky. The piano draws you into the track like you're being hypnotize. The track is smooth and

26. The Eminem 's Third Single Album
The Eminem's second single album, The Slim Shady Lp, was released in 1999, in the hip hop era of gangster, and the environment of hip hop back
then was mostly ghetto style. The mainstream of hip hop music was African American style and it was dominated by their racial culture. Most hip
hop music in that era was produced for the business purpose, and the hip hop market started to decrease due to the full of similar style of music that
made listeners get tired. That might be the signal of desiring a new style of hip hop from the public, and at that time, Eminem appeared with a new,
fresh, and different style from the previous boring style and it was sensational in the hip hop world. The whole hip hop world faced the turning
point for the new genre, and Eminem was the main leader of the new hip hop era. The white rapper rapped with weird melody, entertaining contents,
and funny music video1. The whole world got shocked by the broken stereotype and people started to follow this sensation. From his appearance,
Eminem became the biggest rap star of the new century, as well as he became a symbol of some political tensions of late 19's. His success apparently
showed the world that "white" can be a rapper with a great fame, and Eminem broke the stereotype that hip hop genre is only under the African
American's world. When Eminem released his album, he and his producers had to deal with the stereotype of his racial identity and they went through
by changing how much white race matters

27. Album Analysis: Chris Brown's Comap
Taking a dive into the humble beginning of Chris Browns self–titled album, he introduces himself as a "prissy boy form Tappahannock, Virginia." He
speaks on making his parents proud and touches on God. This type of intro is vital to any debut album because it reveals the artist as a person.
Showing that young Chris is rooted in religion and family. The album takes off with his first hit single "Run it" and sets a new tone for the
beginning of the album. Focusing on picking up a pretty girl, the rest of the album follows the same concept. When listening to the album straight
through it follows the phases of flirting with a girl to being in a relationship and in love, and ends with a breakup. Most top selling albums have an
overall concept and when listened to in order, the album will tell a story. Though something special is not only having the story aspect of an album

28. The Drums Album Summertime
The Drums are an American indie pop band from Brooklyn, New York. When the group moved from Kissimmee, Florida to New York, they
immediately got the attention of the indie world when their album Summertime was released.
The album Summertime is a collection of beach pop fantasy with tracks that are filled with sentimental yearning that really sweeps over an individual.
They became an irresistible and popular band in the summer of 2009. The Summertime record has become the perfect upbeat and post–punk summer
fling album to have.
The founding members of The Drums are Jonny Pierce and Jacob Graham who have been friends since they were children. Several years after being
friends they created a short lived electro pop group called Goat Explosion. Afterwards Jonny Pierce developed the Elkland group and Jacob Graham
formed the Horse Shoes group.
When Elkland parted ways in May 2006 Jonny decided to stop creating music for a few years. In 2008 Jonny and Jacob met back up and created the
group The Drums. At that time they hired drummer Conner Hanwick and guitarist Adam Kessler. In October of 2009 their very first album was
released called Summertime. In September 2010 it was broadcasted that Adam Kessler had left the band.
According to the remaining members it was devastating at first when Kessler left with no clear circumstances. This in turn introduced Chris Stein on
drums and Myles Matheny doing backup vocals as well as guitar. A couple of weeks later Pierce announced the

29. Black Veil Brides Album Analysis
Wretched and Divine:The Story of the Wild Ones is the third studio album and the first concept album by one of my favourite bands, Black Veil
Brides. Despite the album being released back in early 2013 and me not getting my copy of it until mid 2014 I'm still absolutely in love with almost
every song on this album. I wasn't much of a BVB fan back then, only hearing them being compared to Blood On The Dance Floor, but once I heard
this album I fell in love and realised those comparisons were not true at all.
The album opens with Exordium, the first of five spoken word tracks on the disc. This track has Andy's deep, raspy voice speaking about 'the
kingdom of God' and how it can be found everywhere. Although this first track is 25 seconds of too much religion for me it flows ... Show more content

This may have just been because I'm not a big fan of the band's slower songs but either way I found myself skipping them after two or three plays.
All of the bands other songs on the album feature what I believe to be extraordinary guitar skills, exceptional drumming, and some amazing lyrics
like 'Take a look into the life you're leaving. I promise you this isn't pain you're feeling' from Devil's Choir and 'before your life is over, know this to
be true. All the hate we hold inside still won't save your youth' from Days Are Numbered featuring Brett McCracken, the lead singer and songwriter of
The Used.
This is definitely an album I recommend listening to in order the first couple of times so you can have truly understand the storyline as well as hear
how the songs flawlessly move into each other.

Album Covers and Rhetoric Reflection Album covers are often designed to portray a message and show the theme of the music. In class, my group
and I analyzed War by U2. This album originates from the United Kingdom, and was released in 1983 during the Cold War. The album's theme focuses
on both the physical an emotional effects of war. Some songs specific to the Vietnam War. The Album art shows a young man staring straight ahead
with red letters vertical on the right. The red most likely represents blood. I thing there is a picture of a young boy to represent the youth and
innocence that is lost in these violent wars. His blank, steely stare suggests that he has been exposed to too much tragedy for someone who has not

31. Rock Concept Album
Am pretty sure my admiration for progressive rock concept albums started back when I started seriously getting into collecting record albums. As
a kid in my single digits, I had 45's (singles) and whatever else one not quite a teenager yet would have, including the first Partridge Family album
(1970). To my credit, I was never interested in what pop songs 'The Brady Bunch' was putting out, but I'll admit I did have a boyhood crush on
Marcia (Maureen McCormick). Along came my teen years. From hanging out with my friends, and sometimes their older siblings, I became exposed
to more of what they were playing on the FM radio stations, then the AM ones. Rock n' Roll was my thing. To this day, which it primarily still is. My
first real rock album;... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My only regret is that at least on one track, that it don't rock out just a tad harder. For I know Leon and company are more than capable. But it's
cool. We do have lots of rock moments mixed in with the more mellow stuff. Hard to complain. Besides that, I can't say enough good words about
the overall concept story approach. A solid futuristic, apocalyptic tale that inspires intelligent thought. I strongly recommend paying the extra
money and getting the physical CD. It really compliments what you'll hear, as far as packaging. The artwork / photography stands out. Comes with
a very well done booklet, that includes the story in written form, plus comic book illustrations. I would love to see this done like an old school vinyl
album. I imagine it would even come with a poster, and a few stickers. I can't say enough ... this is really, really well done! Okay to buy the download

32. The Family Album Poem Analysis
"An Anti–Semitic Demonstration" was the more effective poem by using metaphors to explain the fear one feels during the arrival and anticipation
of being sent off to a concentration camp by Nazis. During this time period life as a Jew must have been unbelievably frightening, for one was
unsure of when they would be collected and where the would be taken away too. All just because of their religious beliefs or the fact they may be
considered "undesirable". Whereas in "The Family Album" they explained more about how the Jews were before their life changed forever. Neufeld
does not go to explain the way they felt during the tough times of the Nazi ruling. However, he instead talks about how life was instantly changed
when no one saw it coming. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By ending the poem with this it leaves the reader stunned and at awe, for one could never fathom the pain of such horrific task. It is here that I was
most drawn to "An Anti–Semitic Demonstration" because it really goes into depth of showing how horrendous and fearful life was for the Jewish
people. It also gave the poem a greater meaning when we discover he is discussing this about his own mother.
In "The Family Album" Neufeld portrays his poem by using a happy family that is clueless of the upcoming events. By describing the way they were
once were and how unaware of the events that tolled in the future. One may find it easier to connect to this because the author does not go into depth
of living in fear of the Nazi's. However, it does not leave the same lasting impression that Newman was able to create with
Both poems were effective in proving the tough times that were instilled by the Nazi Party. However, through figurative language, metaphors and real
life events Newman was able to create a stronger connection to the fear it brought for the Jews. Whereas Neufeld was more focused on how the Jews

However, all album covers are meticulously designed to represent an artist's vision and work from their music. Musicians will choose an album artwork

34. The Album Dark Side Of The Moon By Pink Floyd
The album Dark Side of the moon by Pink Floyd is the most sold progressive rock album of all time, having sold over 40 million copies to date.
With this album it helped launch Pink Floyd into stardom. The album talks about the many trials and stresses one deals with in a modern life. The
major theme of the album is the unavoidable pressures in life we all must face even at a young age and how these pressures affect us.
The Album begins with the song "Speak to Me". The song "Speak to Me" starts with a heartbeat, which resents a baby in the womb and as the baby
gets closer to birth the heart beats faster. The song ends with a woman screaming (Clare Torry) which is the birth of the baby, it also noted that other
parts of the album are heard along with lines about insanity. The band was trying to convey that even before birth the pressures of life can't be avoided
and as the mother is going through so we will we. This song along with Breath help setup the theme of the album.
The song "Breathe" talks about the different stages of life we go through as we age, and most people's change of view point as they age. The song
lyrics start with "Breathe, breathe in the air.
Don 't be afraid to care. Leave but don 't leave me. Look around and choose your own ground." this relates to a person's child hood and a parent is
giving them advice. The parent is telling the child to enjoy life, do your own thing and figure out what you want but don't leave me. The parent wants

Dreams
To people they can be just an unreachable goal
Or an unattainable desire.
They can beacons of hope
Or just simply just a wish you hope that comes true one day.
To some people they seem like silly thoughts
And things we should not waste our time on.
To others its they are only silver of hope they have lost all hope.
It can mean to others their goals or even how they want life to be.
Or just something that occurs when you fall asleep
To me
Dreams were the only thing that I had to hold onto when no one was there for me
They were there to help me to keep going and inspire me.

37. Mark Wade Album Analysis
Mark Wade is a proficient double bassist and composer who has been playing in NYC for two decades, showing off his fluid, athletic sound. The
follow–up to his widely recognized debut album, Event Horizon, is entitled Moving Day and like its previous, features a classic trio with Tim Harrison
and Scott Neumann on piano and drums, respectively. Together, they achieve an impressive triangular tightness that can be heard without delay on the
first track, the 6/4 post–bop wonder that gave the album its title. It kicks off with the pianist delivering an ostinato, which, minutes later, is reutilized by
the bassist to install the groove. The bandleader embarks on an effusive back–and–forth solo, discharging equal parts of melody and rhythm, and the
energy doesn't faint when Neumann unleashes his clear–sighted chops over a rock–inflected vamp.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I thought of it as a crossing between Stevie Wonder and Chick Corea. Borrowing melody from Debussy's "La Mer", "The Bells" is an imaginative
waltz encompassing glorious suspensions and a chamber–esque sparseness created by the bowed bass. On top of this musing, Harrison's left–hand
onrushes are perceptible on the lower register, bringing McCoy's technique to the mind. The coolness of the piano solo brings nice melodies while the
brushwork of the drummer is noticeable throughout the bass solo. Wade devised new shiny outfits for a couple of jazz standards, with "Another Night
in Tunisia" being shuffled in tempo yet maintaining the strong Latin affinity present in Dizzy's original, and "Autumn Leaves", which was reorganized
to include Herbie Hancock's "Maiden

42. Drake 's New Album Called Views
Drake 's new album called "Views" extremely caught my attention. This album had numerous exceptional songs that I could easily relate to. I

are some my favorite tracks from this album. I absolutely love this album because it shows the struggles that Drake has faced emotionally and it
gives us the ability to connect to it. First off, this album was exceptional because it was different from any other album I have heard. I especially
like the way drake articulated this album and he is actually one of my favorite artists. He is one of my favorite artists because when Drake raps or
sings, he shows everyone basically how he is feeling inside and he has a deeper meaning to it than just words. For instance, people can relate to
what he is saying because they can put themselves in his shoes, or they are going through what he is singing about, which is why it makes it easier
for his album to be liked. For this reason, this makes him a different rapper, because instead of rapping or singing about what the usual rappers rap
about such as getting money, partying, and getting girls, he actually expresses his real emotions instead of covering them up and acting as if he doesn 't
care. Additionally, he doesn 't
