My client, Tony Martin, has been employed by Eagle Airlines as a mechanic at its repair facility. He

Introduction:
The I–35W Mississippi river bridge also known as Bridge 9340 officially was an eight–lane, steel
truss arch bridge which carried the Interstate 35W across the Mississippi river connected the
downtown east and Marcy–Holmes. Its construction began in the year 1964, was finally opened in
1967. It connected the northeast of Metrodome on its south end and the University of Minnesota on
the North end. The bridge was the boundary of "Mississippi Mile" downtown riverfront parkland.
The north foundation of the bridge was near the hydroelectric plant built in 1988. The south
abutment was in an area polluted by the coal gas processing plant. There weren't any mentions of
this in the failure investigations. The bridge was a continuous truss bridge that had a total span of
1,907 ft. It was an 8–lane bridge having a width of 113.3ft. and was 115 ft. high. It was designed by
Sverdrup & Parcel to 1961 AASHO (American Association Of State Highway Officials) standard
specifications. The construction contract worth more than US $5.2 million at the time, went to
Hurcon Inc. and Industrial Construction Company, which built the steel trusses and deck. The piers
were not built in the navigation channel instead the center span of the bridge consisted of a single

Throughout the history of America issues around race have brought great debate and augments.
Being a nation birth from ideals of freedom and undeniable human rights America has failed in
being truthful to its founding. The treatment of African–American is an atrocity that stains the
history of our nation's past. Steps have been made to heal the injustice, but they are just steps. In this
essay, I will be discussing school desegregation focusing on the landmark and controversial

Board of Education fight against the same issue of over half a century ago. This time the case was
against the State of Minnesota because of the injustice and segregation of school. It accused the
State of Minnesota has allowed the schools of Minneapolis and St. Paul to become hyper–
segregated and with this hyper–segregation unequal opportunities in the classroom. The plaintiffs in
the civil action lawsuit Alejandro Cruz–Guzman, et. al. v. State of Minnesota et. al. are the parents
and children in the Minneapolis Public Schools and St. Paul Public Schools. In the civil action suit,
the defendants were the State of Minnesota and many head government officials in the Minnesota
Department of Education and other elected officials. The main claims of the plaintiffs were that the
segregated and unequal schools break the Education Clause of the constitution of Minnesota which
required the state to give all students equal public education. Along with breaking the Constitution
of Minnesota, the segregated schools of Minneapolis and St. Paul violate the Minnesota Human
Rights Act, which states it is unlawful to discriminate education on base of race and socioeconomic

Reatha Clark King was born April 11th, 1938 in Pavo, Georgia. She is a chemist and the former Vice
President of the General Mills Corporation, she is also the former President, Executive Director, and
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the General Mills Foundation. She attended Clark College in
Atlanta where she started as a home economics major and later changed her majored to become a

Santa Rosa – Charles Monroe Schulz, 77, died Saturday, February 12, 2000, at home from colon
cancer. He leaves his wife of 78 years, Jean Schulz; his sons, Craig Schulz and Monte Schulz and
his daughters, Meredith Hodges, Jill Schulz, and Amy Schulz; eighteen grandchildren; and many
close friends. Born and raised in Minneapolis, the son of Carl Shulz and Dena Halverson, having
died in Santa Rosa. In his early years, Mr. Schulz would often read the daily newspaper, especially
the comic strips. After graduating from Saint Paul Central High School in 1940. He met his first
wife, Joyce Halverson, and they married in 1951. He met his second wife, Jean Schulz, at his
hockey rink The Redwood Empire Ice Arena, they then married in 1973. After serving with the US
Army, Mr. Schulz had the opportunity to create his own studio to create his comics in Santa Rosa.
He not only took pride in his business but was truly engulfed into his work never getting behind and

Schulz had a passion for drawing and hockey, he had his own studio where he drew his comics and
owned a skating rink where he could skate. For years, he would write and skate, eventually leading
