Otis Ray Redding Jr. (Redding), commonly known as Otis Redding, was an American blues artist in the 20th century. Redding made his way into
popularity in a short period of time. He was a part of many performing groups and influenced by other popular blues artists to create his unique
sound. Otis Redding was a southern artist that had an important influence on the music industry and culture in the 1960s. Otis Ray Redding Jr. was

My Project 3 booklet is "Charles and Ray Eames." I chose the first moodboard. It was my favorite one. Images are big and bleed to the edge of the
pages. I liked big letters that break the colums, and I also liked the grids how they used. For my own project, I wanted to fill the page with a
picture, but pictures have low resolution, so I changed my plan to scale down all the images and wrote the quotation on top of the images to break
the grid like my mood board. I tried to use limited colors, but it was not easy to make them same colors because the background of the images have

Not too soon after Ray turned five years old, there was a very tragic accident at their house. While RC's little brother was in the bath tub he drowned.
At first Ray was unsure that he was drowning and thought that he was just playing going to the bottom of the washtub to get a shiny penny, but then

Charles mother had died when he was 15, and on the road he picked up the love for heroin. Unlucky for Charles in 1965, Charles was arrested for
possession of heroin. After Charles was released from jail he had groundbreaking hits such as, "Unchain my Heart," "Hit the road Jack," and
"Georgia on my mind". Charles said "There are many spokes on the wheel of life." First, we're here to explore new possibilities." That was true.
Charles had went to jail, had to break the habit of heroin, and he still ended up making some of the catchiest songs we still know today. Charles was
often called the "Father of Soul". He combined Blues, Gospel, and Jazz. According to the Record charts Charles best hit single was "Hit the road
Jack." Charles said that "I never really wanted to be famous, I just wanted to be great." Thats exactly what he did to. After all of Ray's hit singles
Charles started suffering liver disease. So in 2003, Charles had to cancel his tour for the first time in 53 years. He was undergoing hip replacement
surgery. On June 10, 2004, Charles died in his home in Los Angeles, California, surrounded by family and friends. He had died from acute liver
disease. He was 73 years old. His funeral took place on June 18, 2004, at the First AME Church in Los Angeles, with musical peers such as Little
