 Aims or goals: 
During this lesson, learners will be able to:
- Develop students’ listening and speaking skills through writing a film
trailer together.
- Get meaning out of context, inferring in new words by taking them through
it.
- Revise narrative and present tenses: past simple, past continuous and past
perfect; and present simple, continuous and perfect.
- Share their ideas, asking and answering questions in order to develop their
writing skills through the preparation of a script.
- Listen and understand teacher’s commands.
- Identify the use of different tenses while creating a script.
- Develop cognitive skills through the constant exposure to the language.


· Teaching approach or combination of methods / approaches: this lesson
is based on the Constructive approach, and organized through the PPP
procedure. We will also be working according to the EEE (Encounter,
Engage and Exploit) model proposed by Robinson, Mourao and Kang,
since students will use their previous knowledge about the past and
present tenses to be able to apply them into context. We will work with
the ideas and lexis presented during the last lessons to work on the final
project’s script. We will take into account Hedge’s theories to asses
students all through the writing period.

 Integration of skills: What skills will be integrated and how? Listening,
reading, speaking and writing skills will be integrated throughout the
lesson. 
Cognitive and metacognitive skills will also be used throughout the whole
lesson while interpreting each of the tasks, especially when choosing the
correct tenses when writing the script and completing the practical work.


 Materials and resources: 

Photocopies, board.

 Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: we will not use ICT material
during this last lesson.


 Seating arrangement: 

Since the group is not numerous, they sit in one row all facing the board.
· Assessment: what will be assessed and how: I will assess the way students put
into practice the lexis and structures they are learning. I will ask all the
students to participate and help them inferring the words they need meaning
through previous context and knowledge. I will also asses how students write
the sentences by guiding them through the process.

____pointed_____ (point) something at the monster in the water. There was a bright flash and

I couldn’t believe what ____had happened____(happen). What on earth were Moon Goblins,
