Ltr Of Recommendation Fran
1. To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to serve as my recommendation for Anna Forristall to attend the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. I worked with Anna for over 6 years in the Jefferson County Purchasing Department. She expressed a desire to further her education since starting with the county and has since embarked on and achieved this goal by obtaining her BS in Business Management. I feel that she would be an excellent candidate for your 11-month program for her MBA degree. During her time with the county, Anna consistently demonstrated a strong dedication to the success of her work group as well as the success of the department. Her efforts produced high quality work for both internal and external stakeholders and she excelled in updating and streamlining department procedures to enhance task performance. Anna was quick to learn new department software and would offer advice on how best to utilize the software in performing daily activities in her section. She would also volunteer to take on unusual as well as undesirable duties for the department. Though Anna did not hold an official management position, she exhibited leadership qualities throughout her career with the county. Many of her co-workers inside as well as outside of the department would seek her advice and support for various projects. Anna was always there for her co-workers and is comfortable in speaking up when the situation warrants. I believe Anna exhibits many of the qualities that are essential to business managers and business students. I feel her potential leadership abilities will become even more effective in a business school setting. For these reasons, I highly recommend Anna Forristall as a candidate for your MBA program. If you have any questions regarding Anna or this recommendation, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Sincerely,
H. Frances Mueller
Director of Purchasing (Retired)
970-641-2039
