RE: AlyssaCarney
To whom it may concern,
Alyssa Carney was employed by our company during 2014 as a Marketing Assistant. She
integrated very well into our Marketing department and worked on a variety of projects and
ongoing tasks. Her work included copywriting, messaging, drafting press releases and refining
the way we promote our services. She performed market research and contributed to our 2014
strategic planning. She helped in our communications efforts, both internally to our staff and
partners and as outreach with our social media efforts to customers and prospects.
Alyssa took ownership of tasks and exceeded our expectations. Her enthusiasm is contagious—
she’s been a welcome addition to our team.
Please call me with any questions you may have about my experience with Alyssa Carney.
Thank you,
Best Regards,

To Whom It May Concern
Subject: Letter of Recommendation – Ms. Alyssa Carney
The purpose of this letter is to offer my comments, observations and recommendation for
Ms. Alyssa Carney. I am the Director, Industry Education Programs and an adjunct professor in
the Nathan M. Bisk College of Business at the Florida Institute of Technology. Alyssa was one
of my students, and in my director role, I associated with Alyssa from time to time during the
academic year.
During the time we have been associated, she has continually demonstrated the ability to
focus on the task at hand, making every effort to understand all aspects and viewpoints. She
could be relied upon to meet all course requirements in an outstanding manner, establishing
courses of action for herself in order to accomplish the job. She actively participated in
classroom activities, adding to the process by expressing her ideas and concepts in a highly
mature, lucid and intelligent manner. Alyssa expresses her ideas effectively, both orally and in
writing, getting the point across in an exemplary manner in individual and group situations. She
used appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to help guide the efforts of her work group
toward the work group’s goal achievement. Alyssa can be relied upon to perform the key
leadership functions (providing purpose, direction and motivation to an organization) in an
outstanding manner. She is a true team player and is willing to take the lead in assuming
leadership roles.
She was a very positive contributor to my class, and I feel she will always be a valuable
contributor to any organization or endeavor. Being dissatisfied with just average performance,
she will continue to set high goals and standards for herself. These self-imposed standards of
excellence will insure her success in the future in any activity. It was a pleasure to have her in
my class. I would welcome the opportunity to associate with her in the future.
3. Based upon my personal observations, I believe and know that Ms. Carney possesses the
requisite maturity, skills, abilities, and determination to cope with the demanding academic
rigors of graduate school or any post-graduation employment.
