Quite a fun and crazy old
fashioned kind of poppy
performance:
- Backing girls with red dresses
- Main male crazy bow tie, short
sleeved checked shirt
- The set would be wooden
- The performer, main male
would be quite awkward
looking and quite lanky
- An idea of whom (Ollie, his
hair would be parted in the
middle and his hair would be
gelled to each side)
A performance based section:
3. Concept of my music video
It could be set in view point on one of the path
ways.
It could also be set up in an actual room. E.g. a
kitchen, and the man is leaving the woman
- The main male singer would look exactly the
same as in the performance section
- The wife would be a trophy wife, gorgeous
looking with a pompous dress like the one in
the picture with a 50s sort of hairstyle
- In the story they could be taking an
awkward walk, in the kitchen they are also
being awkward and he ends up explaining
through the lyrics of the video that he is
leaving her and reunites with a man
- This narrative part would be quite comedic
A narrative based section:
4. Star image of the artist.
- The artist would be quite thin
lanky and awkward.
- You wouldn’t expect him to be
able to sing.
- Different to everything seen
previously, quite odd in terms
of style.
- In the video the video would
be set in the 50s, but the artist
doesn’t necessarily always
need to portray a 50s style.
- Quite smart.
- One of the ideologies of the
artist would be to fight for gay
rights
- He would also be an
environmentalist
5. How the video fits in the specific
track
- The video would be quite a comedic cute
representation of what the lyrics say (in the
narrative section)
- Maybe it could start with the backing girls
clapping
6. Homepage
- The background picture of the
website would be a kitchen with a
pastel blue colour theme. The
artist would be sat down in a chair
half eating something wearing
something quite bright, e.g. red
trousers.
- This would show that the artist is
something else, he is in his own
world doing his own thing.
- The buttons to click in the
webpage would be quite colourful
and crazy. This would suggest the
pop genre of that the artist falls
under.
- An example of a pop artist who
uses this kind of colour scheme: Ed
Sheeran
7. Digipack
- The album cover would be
very similar to the
background picture to the
homepage, but maybe the
artist would be closer to the
camera than at the
background of the
homepage.
- The background of the list
of the songs would have a
slightly softer colour blue
than the picture of ED
SHEERAN’s ticket sale’s
page.
