Good Morning!!
Are you paying attention ??
The Window Shopping

  Bumped in
 various stores

                  Captured pictures
                   where possible
Avg. 15-25mins
   per store
                           Eyes-wide-open
                              approach

                  Result – ‘WOW’
1. Nautica
        Insights

- Open door a welcoming approach
- Neat & tidy interiors
- Light & soft music – lets customer in a
soothing mood & same time enjoy shopping
- Smiling staff members
- Little busy staff on their desk & corner talks
Opportunities

• - Staff should be more focused
    towards customers’ & accordingly
    assist them

• - Some products were placed at
the very bottom of shelf making
    them inaccessible

• - Mannequins to be more
    prominent
2. Reebok
     Insights

- Music was really good and creates positive
mood for shopping
- Lighting bright which adds to the good
   mood
- Impulse items like low price Sippers,
   Deodorants were
kept at the cash point, and cashier was good at
cross selling
- Young and energetic staff
Opportunities

• Store looked very untidy
• Merchandise was not neat
• Eye level products were not
available in my size, loss of
  sale
• Mannequin product was also
  not available in my size
• Trial Rooms should be air-
  contioned to avoid
  suffocation
3. BiBa
     Insights

- - Attractive
    Mannequins

- Most customers
    visit store with
    friends/sisters,
    their opinion
    matter.

- Good Table display
Opportunities

- Staff should be made
more proctive, they
must educate customers
about fashion, cross sell
merchandise. This will
benefot both customers
and store.

- Manager/Cashier
should be polite to staff
in front of customers. I
felt uncomfortable when
manager was almost
shouting of staff

- Staff should also wear
ethnic cloths to el with
the store
4. Adidas
      Insights

- Full of merchandise
- Contrary to Reebok this store had good number of merchandise available
- Trial room quite spacious
- Store ceiling looked quite low giving a ‘smaller’ look
Opportunities

- Store front should be better lit, looks quite dull
- Display not very attractive
- Staff low on energy, overall a less enthusiastic staff
- Unlike of an Adidas brand
- Gives a clumsy look in the store
5. Alcott
     Insights

- Store front should be better lit, looks quite dull
- Display not very attractive
- Staff low on energy, overall a less enthusiastic staff
- Unlike of an Adidas brand
- Gives a clumsy look in the store
Opportunities

- Store front should be better lit, looks quite dull
- Display not very attractive
- Staff low on energy, overall a less enthusiastic staff
- Unlike of an Adidas brand
- Gives a clumsy look in the store
6. Hush
 Puppies’
      Insights
- Average Age of the staff was around 40,
vis a vis average age of customers was 30.
I believe they should hire staff lower than
30 to make customers comfortable

It was difficult for me to find price of the
Product. Had to ask staff, which made me
Uncomforatble

Staff was not able to justify high price of
The product

Couches were comfortable to try footwear
Too smell in the store
Opportunities

- Store front should be better lit, looks quite dull
- Display not very attractive
- Staff low on energy, overall a less enthusiastic staff
- Unlike of an Adidas brand
- Gives a clumsy look in the store
Thoughts ???

Thank You – Abhimanyuu Ahuja
