2. Introduction
 Boasting more than three decades of experience as an engineering
and lighting expert in the Miami area, William Pino is currently
president of Main Street Engineering. A committed advocate of his
profession in and around Miami, William Pino is also a member of
the Florida Engineering Society (FES).
This year’s annual meeting of the Florida Engineering Society is
scheduled to take place on August 2-5, 2017, in Palm Beach,
Florida. This meeting will be the 101st annual conference for the
society. The conference will be hosted at the Breakers Hotel, and
will feature a wide range of seminars that span the breadth of the
engineering profession. A few examples of seminar topics include
the latest advances in engineering practices, as well as topics
pertaining to the ethics and laws of which society members should
be aware.
The meeting will also play host to several special events, including
a silent auction and a member golf tournament. Attendees will also
be treated to a boat cruise at sunset on Friday night.
