Feb 2015- Current Pharmacy Sales IBL, GlaxoSmithKline
Engaged in a variety of business tasks including account management, customer
engagement, strategic planning, new product introduction and systems optimisation. I
worked independently and used my organisational skills to ensure that I was able to achieve
business goals through a period of internal upheaval in which I made four different
managers in 5 months.
 Managed accounts to ensure that a mutually beneficial, growth driven relationship
was maintained and business goals were achieved.
 Aided innovation by exploring alternative ways of business with the goal of reducing
expenses whilst achieving the desired outcome.
 Optimized tasks within the business by refining existing reports or introducing new
reports to reduce business expenses.
 Leveraged my communication skills to convey information within the team and to
the wider organization to ensure management was fully informed of key factors
affecting business decisions by developing reports and presentations as well as
providing analysis.
 Worked cross functionally as a point of contact between the Pharmacy Sales team
and other teams within the business.
 Engaged in long term strategic planning, forecasting and New product introduction
 Leveraged and developed my technical abilities in the Microsoft Office suite, SAP,
Nielsen and IMS.
 Utilized my knowledge of Business Law gained at university and applied this to
business decisions and communications. I further developed this knowledge through
on the job training and engagement with stakeholders within the Regulatory
department.
 Engaged in Analysis to help guide long term business decisions in areas such as
pricing.
 Lead a project to reduce expenses created by damaged and outdated stock. This was
done through refining reports to highlight overrepresented products and sales
managers and then implementing strategies to reduce these credits.
 Maintained a positive attitude and provided support within the team during a period
of significant uncertainty and tension.
 Used my time management skills to ensure multiple, varying deadlines were meet.
Furthermore, I used this to balance my full time work, Part Time university, Debating
and other personal commitments.
 Operated independently and with initiative to ensure tasks were completed through
a period of significant restructuring within the company
 Aided in the transition of different members into and out of the team as a Joint
Venture occurred and the Sales Teams of Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline were
merged.
