8. Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products have?
• All the covers utilise red frequently, suggesting it is a universally
enticing colour. A main motif dominates the cover for each
magazine, showing that it is the most eye-catching part, even ahead
of the magazine name.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
– I will also use red for my magazine alongside an accompanying colour. I
will use a main motif that is on top of a calming background to make it
stand out as well as to give a feeling of serenity. Like the car magazine
and music magazines, I will use a celebrity to entice people to read the
magazine. Furthermore, I will make sure to add short text describing
what to expect from the magazine as all three of my researched
examples do.
