2. Development
Areas I need to develop in
FMP
Research: Look further into audiences via secondary sources
Pre-Production: Add additional consideration of style behind artwork and
animation
Production: Develop usage of text, including more suitable fonts and better
placements on the screen.
Reflection: Make more mention of the tools I use as well as the strengths
and weaknesses of the day’s work.
Evaluation: Add more focus to individual areas of my work.
How I will develop these
areas in FMP
• Research: Use online research to acquire data from other people. I can
then compare these results with my own primary research.
• Pre-Production: Make mention of the colour and shape themes of the
different areas I develop and how I intend to keep the general art-style
consistent throughout the piece.
• Production: Further experiment with different fonts, both from online and
of my own creation, to ensure it fits with the rest of the animation whilst
standing out to the viewer. Additionally, ensure that all text is properly
positioned so that there is no risk of it being cropped off screen.
• Reflection: Record what tools and software I use throughout the
production process as well as what I specifically used each for.
• Evaluation: Look at each individual animation included in my production
(e.g. character run cycles) as well as the different designs I produce for the
areas and characters.
