extremely bright
colours roughly
represents the
game’s overall
aesthetics.
Bold colours, used to signify important elements or
characters, either in design style or plot-wise,
through the use of coloured text.
Gothic font style

game’s
otherworldly
background.
3. Layout 1
Red as the colour font to convey
danger, violence, blood and the
forbidden.
The third verse of the Destruction
of Sennacherib, by Lord Byron. This
has been used to convey a feeling
of ominousness, the Angel of
Death representing one of the core
fears of humanity.
4. Layout 2
The lack of text is used to create a sense of
confusion and mystery in the audience,
feeding their curiosity.
The bright and bold colours in the poster
are used to attract attention, as well as
symbolising each member of the main cast,
the phrases representing a core aspect of
their personality.
By making the colours shine out from a
single point of origin, it represents the
common threads that link each character
together, as well as the ultimate goal that
they each strive for.

6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Photoshop crashing or freezing mid-
production, halting development of the project.
ALWAYS save regularly, making sure that there
is a recent back-up of the project.
There are no computers available. Resort to more mundane methods, such as
pencil and paper, and book a computer in your
own time.
You are unable to access your files for
whatever reason.
Make sure that there is at least one other copy
of the project, as well as production research to
back up your claims.
7. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Repetitive use of a computer can damage your
wrist, back and eyes through over-exposure.
Take regular breaks to avoid strain on your
body from being at a computer too long.
Due to the multitude of wires and cables that
support a computer, tripping hazards could
arise from the environment.
Make certain that all wires are tucked out of
the way and that there are no exposed areas
that could result in an injury.
High amounts of electricity are needed to
power a computer, and if there is any exposed
wiring, it could result in electrocution.
Be 100% sure that the computer is in good
working condition and shows no signs of faulty
wiring or otherwise harmful irregularities.
