9. Director of Product
At Unison, our Director of Product (DP) will oversee both the tactical and
strategic elements of developing our product, the Stakeholder Insights
Cloud.
The DP role requires interfacing with our Sales, Communications, Client
Engagement, and Business Development teams to create a unified strategy
around innovation at Unison and ensure the Product Development team
stays lockstep with the goals of both the business and our customers.
Additional high-level duties include conducting market research,
generating product requirements, and determining specifications,
production timetables, time-integrated plans for product introduction, and
communicating progress to and managing expectations across the broader
team and leadership.

1. Determines needs & desires of customers by
working closely with the Sales, Business
Development & Client Engagement teams
2. Recommends the nature and scope of present
and future product lines by reviewing product
specifications and requirements; appraising new
product ideas, features, and functionalities
3. Assesses market competition by comparing the
company's product to competitors' products
4. Provides source data for product line
communications by defining product marketing
communication objectives
5. Assesses product market data by calling on
customers with Sales and Client Engagement
teams and evaluating conversations

6. Provides information for management by
preparing short-term and long-term
product development plans, special reports
and analyses; responding to inquiries and
requests
7. Completes operational requirements by
scheduling and assigning employees to key
product-related tasks; ensures results are
both timely and high-quality

recruit, select, orient, and train new team
members
