benefits to individuals, team and organization.
• It works towards the goal of an organization or a group.
• It can increase the amount of information used in decision-
making.
• It can offer opportunities for creativity that can improve
performance.
 Dysfunctional conflict
• It is also called as Destructive Conflict that works to the
disadvantage of an individual or team.
• It diverts energies, hurts group cohesion, promotes interpersonal
hostilities, and overall creates a negative environment for workers.
• It blocks an organization or a group from reaching its goal.
