2. Narrative Music Video- Marshmellow

The record label decided to do a narrative video in this music
video because there is no face of the artist. Only the brand of the
marshmellow is shown but not the artist, therefore, doing a
narrative only music video would be the most effective way in
showing a good story but also not showcasing the artists face but
rather the brand.
This is a good idea as their target audience is much older and
more mature, meaning they will be able to understand the story
more.
3. Performance music video- Happy by
Pharrell Williams
This music video is almost all performance. I think this is very
effective as Pharrell Williams is a very well known artist, therefore it
would be a smart idea to do a performance video, as then people
will see his face and will want to watch the video.
In addition, this also helps create his brand image, in this case
Pharrell says about being “happy” this gives the connotation of
Pharrell always being happy and friendly, this boosts his image to
the public incredibly.
