On 14th September 2008 on the Main Line track Skövde – Töreboda
the Regina 250/300 reached the new high speed record of 303 km/h

This was done on track certified for 200 km/h operational speed
Direct after the test was finished the line went back to normal
operation

Meets UIC518 requirements for 250 km/h
and cant def 183 mm (1.2 m/s2). Track forces is typical 60 % of limits.

President Andre Navarri presented the first ever BT Innovation Award
in Berlin on 9 – 11 September 2008 and said that innovation is a key
contributor to growth and competitive distinction.
The Gröna Tåget project is a successful example of how our innovative

people transform their ideas with endurance, cleverness, creativity,
timing, courage and cross-boundary teamwork into a real innovation that
provides both substantially reduced energy consumption and a high-
speed driving performance.

to the team of the Gröna Tåget and Regina 250/300 project.
