2. Click on
“Search POLAR
It’s easiest to log in via the library
website www.onu.edulibrary

3. Once at POLAR page, click on
the RefWorks link

4. Go ahead and click
on “Continue to this
website”. It won’t
hurt anything!
If you are off campus, you
may get this screen

5. Once you click through the
log in screen will display

6. At the RefWorks screen, click on
“Tools” at the toolbar and choose
“Write-N-Cite”

7. Click where it says “previous
versions as the newest version
is not yet ready for download.

8. Now click on the
Download link

9. Click on the “install information
link for more info on how to install
MAC version.

10. You will be installing
“Write-N-Cite III for
windows.

11. Click on Run

12. Click on YES if you have
an earlier copy installed.

13. Follow the instructions on
the installation wizard

14. • After you have installed the Write-N-Cite
program, open your word-processor to get
started. In Microsoft Windows, look for the
“RefWorks“ tab in the Word Ribbon. On
Mac, turn on the toolbar under menu item
View->Toolbars->Write-N-Cite.
