CALIBRATIONS

Calibrations for 1186C Incubator
List of contents:
• Calibration procedure: PC-01-800-055.
• Calibrated Term hygrometer.
• Multifunctional Fanem Simulator: 090.000.900.
• Decibel meter
• Calibrate Mult meter (voltage meter).
• Term hygrometer tripod (10 cm high).
• Digital Chronometer.
• Standard calibrated 5 kg weigh.
IMPORTANT: must be in a controlled environment with the
temperature between 23°C and 26°C.

• Multifunctional Fanem Simulator: 090.000.900:

Air and Skin Temperature calibration:
• Place the term hygrometer 10 cm high in the center of the
mattress.
• Set the Air temperature to 36°C and wait for stabilization (it may
take close to two hours if the unit was off/cold):

• After the stabilization check for the Air temp.
• If it don’t match, enter in the calibration mode pressing “Menu”
and “ Alarm silence” keys at same time:

• Press “Menu” key again and you will see:
• Press “ up” and “down” keys to change it value.

38°C Alarm (Yellow LED off):
• Adjust Air Temperature to 38°C
• After reach 38°C turn the TP2 clockwise up to the alarm sounds
IMPORTANT: Use in the calibration mode
High Temperature Thermostat Alarm:
• Adjust Air Temperature to 40°C
• After reach 40°C turn the TP clockwise up to the alarm sounds

Lack of Air Circulation Alarm Calibration:
• Wait for 2 hours of heating process in 36°C, then, shut the H-H key
off in order to turn off the motor.
• Start the chronometer.
• The Alarm must sound between 15 and 120 seconds, if not, adjust
the Air Circulation Trimpot.
• Turn the H-H on, wait at least for 20 minutes for stabilization again
of the environment temperature for another try.
• Repeat all steps as much as necessary.

Oxygen Cell Calibration:
• Select Oxygen Function
• Press CAL key to go to the calibration screen
• Open O2 compartment up to the end (both cells to the outside)
and wait for 2 minutes for sensor stabilization
• Select 21% and start
• With the help with bag, cover the sensor cabinet, inject O2 and
wait for 2 minutes for sensor stabilization
• Select 100% and start

Verification for the Humidity Sensor:
• Set the temperature to 34°C or 36°C
• Place a term hygrometer in the center of the mattress and 10 cm
high
• Adjust the Humidity to 70% and wait up to 30 minutes for sensor
stabilization
• Tolerance is no bigger than +/- 5%
IMPORTANT: There is no adjustment,
if it fails, it must be changed

Weigh Scale Calibration:
1. Procedure number: PC-01-800-063
2. Demands a 5 Kg calibrated load
3. Side Display board: 090.112.900 (picture)
4. Connect the vein cable type to the weigh scale PCB
5. Reassembly an turn on the device

6. First lecture should be “FANEM” and then the software version
7. Without any load on the platform, press SW1

8. Display will shows “0.” and then “CALIB”
9. Place a 5 kg on the center of the platform and press SW2

10. Display will shows “5.”
11. After stabilization the display will show the actual weight as
“5,000” kg

• Screwdriver Trimpots.
• Wrench 13 mm.
Cleaning:
• Follow User Manual.
• Never, never uses alcohol or alcohol component for cleaning the
acrylics parts, it will damage after few days.
