INTRODUCTION / CAREER OBJECTIVES
Over 25 years of intensive service with wine, spirits, tourism and the culinary arts have honed a valuable matrix of skills
which allow me to excel at a wide array of challenges. Rewarding involvements have run the gamut from Sales &
Marketing, Hospitality & Tour execution and Retail / Restaurant Buyer onward to specialization as wine & spirits Importer,
Wine Educator, Sommelier & Wine List Consultant, Gourmet Products Entrepreneur, Event Planner, Tour Organizer &
Guide as well as Professional Wine & Travel Writer.
This colorful tapestry of talents is a testimony to my career Mission to creatively weave the threads of passionate and
gracious living through discoveries of food, drink, travel and culture. Such a broad range of experience opens opportunities
to apply my initiative to many exciting endeavors. Secure in the possession of an attractive balance of background,
competence, eloquence, polish and good humor - I would expect many potential employers will benefit from my proven
abilities.
My interest is to apply these multitudinous ambitions to a dynamic enterprise which would provide a fertile environment
for further initiatives. Obviously, a combination of the above listed tasks is desirable, but a narrowing of focus with certain
elements is also worth consideration.
Beyond question we are witnessing at this exciting time a worldwide epicurean revolution. The market for experiential
curiosity and satisfaction is expanding in tandem with consolidations in communication and transportation.
In the wake of this globalization, leisure and hospitality industries enjoy expansion and the seemingly endless
fascination with culture stimulates tourism, recreation and the culinary scene to new heights.
