Objective
To continue to build on my career strengths within the events management/media
sphere; where my successful campaign marketing record and unique understanding of
popular culture and social media connections can be used to facilitate the success of an
organisation dedicated to innovation and cultural relevance within the global 21st
century
environment.
Summary
With a BA (First Class) & MA from one of the world’s leading research universities (QMUL),
where I have been invited to address students on many occasions to speak about my varied
career successes. My professional highlights include the arrangement of several high
powered events from conception to fruition, such as Life Time Musical Achievement Awards
2008 at Shepherds Bush Empire and Los Angeles Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp 2015. The
successful publication of a celebrity autobiography (ghost written), appearance as a ‘talking
head’ in two award winning documentaries, an ongoing curation of celebrity popular culture
archives, digitising and running online campaigns and historical presentations for website
pages. I mounted an exhibition of memorabilia in London in 2014 and deal with the National
Press and BBC/Television Companies on a regular basis, helping them access my archives
and providing additional information. Flexible, authoritative, cheerful, enthusiastic,
confident and responsible, with a refreshingly different approach; a team leader and team
player, with highly developed organisational and problem solving qualities; I have had an
extensive and varied professional life, with some career paths running simultaneously,
resulting in an exceptional skillset that can be utilised and further developed to great
advantage.
