Narrative
Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have
been used to create specific soundtrack elements
They are in a dark room with just one light in the middle table but there is no music
playing it is just them arguing/talking to one another about what they are going to
do. I think that if they were to add sound into this cut scene it would ruin it because
it would take some of the seriousness out of the situation.
The mood is very tense and serious and by adding no music just by having the
occasional sound in the background they have managed to make the scene as
serious and as tense as they could.
First Person shooter/action
There is no music at the start or middle because it
is all serious talking and if they added sound it
would ruin the effect and change how serious the
matter actually was what they are talking about.
The music starts at 2:02 because this is when the
action in the cut scene is going to start occurring.
They are having an argument in a dark room about what they are going to do about
the current situation. This leads to one the people desperately trying to convince
them that they have to go and stop one of their agents because he has a nuke and
he is going to launch it because he knows that this agent is a double agent but none
of the other people in the room will believe him or assist him. It looks like he is
fighting a losing battle but then he has a flash back. Then he puts all of the pieces
together and he realises what he has to do so he escapes.
He has a short conversation with the person sat
next to him then the cut scene cuts of when they
are about to escape because it is user played.
The effects that are used in this cut scene make it
one of the best cut scenes that has ever been
made.
