FOREWORD: The Sheraton hotel in Sana’a Yemen housed some 250 US Department of State
(DOS) employees and associates and a security detachment including 45 US Marines. On 1
January 2013 the hotel and associated facilities were leased to the US DOS as the Diplomatic
Transit Facility – Sana’a. Served as the AC4S Project Manager while the facilities were
operated by Sheraton and the AC4S Director of Maintenance for the leased facility.
Accomplishment:
Vastly improved life support in 300 bed life support facility which was previously very
poorly maintained and operated
URS Corporation/General Dynamics (01/15/2012 – 07/31/12) – Project Manager and
Construction Manager, Kandahar and Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan

Provided project management expertise to the Expeditionary Prime Base Engineer

Launched a large six multi-story building project that was floundering and closed project
on schedule and under budget
Completed a large Ministry of Defense training complex with a full range of educational
and life support facilities
Carried out duties in consultation with the US Department of State and Iraqi Ministries
Created and managed systems and procedures for archive of 2,400 projects executed
over seven years and valued at $6.4 billion
