Application Engineer - Metrology • Support Klingelnberg customers in the field of measuring technologies • Identify requirements and specifications for new development and measuring capabilities • Development of new measuring applications and procedures in close cooperation with the software development team • Testing and validation studies of new development and/or special measuring applications • Prepare reports, presentations and technical documentation on equipment and software functions such as instructions and operational procedures • Processing customer inquiries • Training customers and service personnel to program and use Klingelnberg measuring machines • Work in close collaboration with both sales and service departments. • Engineer (BS or MS) with keen interest in coordinate and gear measuring technologies • Experience with measuring equipment and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications • Communication and teamwork skills with service mentality and enjoyment of direct contact with customers • Didactic skills, experience in presenting and conducting training preferred • High degree of initiative, dynamic, motivated and confident appearance • Proficient with MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint • Good knowledge in verbal and written technical English are required, a second language is a plus • Willingness to travel within the US and Canada and occasionally Germany to our parent company KLINGELNBERG America, Inc. 118 E Michigan Ave MI 48176 Saline +1 734 470 6278 employment@klingelnberg.com www.klingelnberg.com Are you willing to accept a challenge?
