1. Audience Profile
Our film is aimed at teenagers to young adults mainly. Although we are hoping
that the movie aims to the adult and older population to make it a successful
film. We do not aim on a specific gender, although the role of women in the
film will be a passive role compared to the dominance of the male actors. We
are hoping that the Supernatural/Psychological horror narrative of the film will
keep our viewers on the edge of their seat as they don’t know what is going to
happen next. We hope to create this in our opening sequence, not giving too
much of the narrative away making the audience want to keep watching.
Profile
Here is bill he is an average 16 year old who enjoys football, spending time
with his friends and just socialising in general. In his free time he enjoys
watching television, going to football games, playing on his Xbox and going to
the cinema and especially enjoys horror movies such as Paranormal Activity
and Black Swan. He enjoys these genres of horror as they challenge his mind
and also keep him, interested with the complexity of plots. He also enjoys
having characters that are of a similar age, or young adults which he can relate
to. He also likes films that are under 18, but still contain elements that can
scare him and his friends.
