A highly skilled and enthusiastic administrator with over 20 years proven experience. I am
currently looking to take my office skills forward in an intermediate administration role. Well
presented with an unrivalled reliability and professionalism. I am dedicated to maintaining a
high quality of work whilst consistently meeting targets and deadlines. A practical person
used to working in fast-paced office environments who enjoys being a valued member of a
productive team.
Skills and Competencies
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Internet,
Email, Database software and Payroll Manager
• Polite and professional telephone manner
• Organised and methodical in my approach to any given task
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal communication, able to
communicate to people on all levels effectively and efficiently
• Good customer service skills, able to build and maintain good working relationships
with both internal and external customers
Employment History
Administrator
South West Essex Primary Care Trust – NHS June 2002 – Aug 2014
Whilst working in this role I have covered many different job roles including Ward Clerk,
Receptionist and Administration. Duties included admitting patients, discharging patients,
ensuring all samples were sent out to the laboratory in time for transport, ensuring notes
were ordered and on the ward for Doctors, keeping all notes up to date, data entry,
arranging transport for patients appointments or discharge home and liaising with other
agencies where necessary.
Other duties included answering calls, making calls, confirming appointments, arranging
appointments, ensuring consultants had necessary documents, filing, scanning photocopying
and helping patients with any queries.
Previous employment has included working in various other administration roles, details of
these roles can be supplied upon request.
Training and Education
• Microsoft Word Module (Taken from ECDL)
• Various in house courses including PAS, E-Roistering, System 1, Exeter, Minute
Taking, Manual Handling, Equality and Diversity, Information Governance,
Safeguarding Adults and Children, Infection Control and Fire Marshall
• Educated to national standards including English and Maths
Hobbies and Interests
During my spare time I like to read, do cross stitch and spend time with my family and
friends.
