2. Process
• Firstly I would use things such
as mind maps and mood
boards to get a idea on what
type of game I would like to do
and the themes in it. This is
the most important process
and can take the longer as you
need to think of the gene its
self. Also, you will have to
choose the art style along with
the colour scheme you use.
• After I’ve chosen what I want
the game to be like I got rid of
the things that don’t match
the theme or ideas.
3. Process
• After that I would use photo shop to start drawing out the background
and some of the simple design such as the character in the game and
other items used. I think is process is easy to do and can be done fast
due to already having the idea about the setting and themes used.
• This would just be ideas from existing products are what is already out.
4. Process
• I would then start to draw out the background based on the theme
and ideas used before with the characters and items. It’ll start of
being basic and I would then build up on it making it match up. I
would then add details such as shadowing and making not look so
flat or 2d. I would keep referring to my mood board to see what
works well.
5. Process
• When I have a understanding on what I want it to look like I would build
up from it and start adding in details and shadowing to it. After this I
would start to do the animations by moving different layers one frame
at a time. I would do this as fluently as possible so it looks smooth.
• After this I would edit in different sound effect in when the animation is
running
