installed capacity of around 40 million mtrs fabric/month. It produces and markets 90 %
stretch denim and 10 % non stretch denim. It is well known for its premium products
range and widely popular with its famous tag ‘’THE COMPLETE MAN”. Major customers
of Raymond UCO are Gap, Levis, Vf, H & M, M & S, Scotch And Soda, Killer and Mufti.
Key Responsibilities:
I am responsible for product designing andtocategorize themintodifferent
categories andtoselect products for various collectionsas per brand guide lines,
suggestions or for various fairs whichour company represents.
Key role:-
 Using personal judgment and initiative in every stage of product development
from yarn making to fabric testing and washing as well.
 Liaise with marketing person in order to establish and maintain effective and
relevant product as per various brand requires and for domestic as well.
 Plan and executing activity of development sample with production team and
control its parameters as designed till last stage of fabric.
 Taking decision effectually for solving any queries arising from marketing person
or from any production people and engaging all with my own suggestion to solve
if any issue persists in developed or bulk run product.

2.  Ensuring correct implementation of all the parameters needed to make the
product successful for longer run and making sure the product is viable from cost
point of view.
 As a core designer initiate product designing and conceptualization in terms of
fabric analysis to finish fabric testing and suggesting marketing person the usp of
that particular product.
 Active participate in any discussion regarding new concept with various suppliers
and conducting trials to use it in best possible manner for denim fabric.
 Suggesting best products from product basket according to brand/marketing
person guide lines received from customers across the globe.
 Select products for different fairs and visited fairs and trade shows as a
representative from Raymond UCO.
 As I am previously working as an asst. designer in suiting through understanding
about different designs, fabrics and garment.
