Problems that could occur whilst filming my thriller opening
1. Problems that could occur whilst filming my thriller opening
In this document I will be discussing problems that can occur whilst
shooting my thriller opening and how these problem can be resolved.
Problem
Actors forgetting to bring their props and costumes on the day of filming.
Resolving the problem
Director which is I sending out an email or a text message to the actors the
night before filming, and reminding them what to bring for the filming
session. This would allow the actors time to prepare themselves for the
filming session and reduces the risk of them forgetting to bring a vital prop
or costume.
Problem
Not getting permission to film scene of our thriller or be on school campus
at a partial time of day such as the late afternoon.
Resolving the problem
Me sending an email to my media teacher’s, head of sixth form and the site
manager, asking for permission to be on campus in the late afternoon.
Explaining to them how much people will be on campus, the times we
intend to arrive and leave at. I am also going to explain why we have to be
on campus at this time.
Problem
The camera battery dying whilst filming a scene.
Resolving the problem
Charging the battery before the filming session such as the night before and
checking that it has 100% charge.
Problem
The equipment may be damaged or may get damaged whilst filming a
scene.
Resolving the problem
Check all equipment before taking it out and report to a media teacher if
any equipment is faulty or damaged. If the equipment is damaged whilst
filming report it to my media teacher straight away.
