2. CONTROLLING MECHANICAL PROJECTS
• When handling mechanical projects , the following sequence of tasks are to
be embedded in delivering mechanical projects. Quality control/ assurance
processes or documentation are highlight as a sub items:
• General Processes/Activities:
• 1. Progress reviews weekly and/ or monthly by means of standardized
reports and software platforms.
• 2. Daily Toolbox talks
• 3. Contractor performance evaluation intervals and scope.
• 4. Baseline Risk Assessment and risk register,
• 5. Issue logs
• 6. Lessons learnt log.
• 7. Site Inspections

3. • b. Participate in Factory Acceptance
Tests (FAT) and sign-off relevant check
sheets. FAT reports to be compiled and
submitted to HOD
• c. Equipment and materials
receiving onsite. Agree on
documentation required for
equipment and materilas receiving.
• 5. Construction and Installations.
• a. Agree on works permit system.
(Work at heights, confined space, hot
work, and other construction permits)
• b. Review all works Method
Statement and QCPs.
• c. Review all works HIRA documents.
