Since its inception in 1992 up to the present Trisakti University Graduate Programsin
Management has shown her capability toface thechallenges of competition. During that time the
programs have hadthreeconsecutive times toobtain recognition with the predicate A from the
government throughthe National Accreditation Boardof Higher Education.
The graduate management programs developingconcentrations suchas Financial Management,
Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, Accountancy Management,
Hospitality Management, Community Entrepreneurship Management, Quality and
Standardization and others have yielded more than 2600 graduates with Magister of Management
degree.
Graduate Program in Quality and Standardization equipped with professional faculty and experts
in the two important fields has been developed to response to the issue of sustainability in which
quality and standardization place of importance viewed from economic, environmental and
socio-cultural perspectives.

2. Graduate Program on Quality and Standardization (GPQS)

GPQS Director
The goal of the Graduate Program in Quality and Standardization is to produce graduates
equipped with theories and practical skills in quality and standardization as reflected from its
curriculum bridging the goal of sustainability.
The program on quality and standardization focuses on sustainable development and in particular
the idea that development processes need the active involvement of all parties likely to contribute
to or to be affected by them. It underlines the importance of the participatory processes involving
public and private actors at various levels, including the standard-setting practices that provide
essential voluntary agreements supporting the dissemination of knowledge, best practices and
monitoring tools.
The uniqueness of this program is the implementation of socio-cultural approach in building
people awareness of quality and standardization through the revitalization of local wisdoms.

Training certificates conversed into credit course
The GPQS acknowledges ISO management trainings held by the Institute for Standardization of
Trisakti University (ISTU) or other organizations attended by the applicants. This
acknowledgment says any certificate taken from such trainings will have to be considered of
having equivalence to the courses offered in the concentration of the GPQS.
