Scientific name: Tinospora cordifolia family
Menispermaceae.
The plant has its origin in India but now in abundantly in
tropical Areas of india,shri lanka,and Myanmar.
it mostly grow on neem or mango trees.
In recent year increasing chikungunya or dengue or plain
fever in india. Giloy is the superfood you should have every
single day to treatment diseases.
The stem of Giloy is of maximum utility,but root can also be
used. Its benefits and have even been approved by the
FDA(Food and Drug Administration),Giloy is a universal
herbs herb that help boost immunity.

According to WHO about 390 million cases of dengue
fever worldwide and 96 million are require medical the
treatment.
According to National Vector Borne Disease Control
Programme (NVBDCP),around 18000 cases of dengue in
Delhi.
Indian also saw doubling up cases of fever 2015 to 2016.
Giloy is a universal herbs herb that help boost immunity
and resolved the problem of fever.

Raw materials: The stem part of Tinospora cordifolia was
collected from Greater Noida Gautam Buddhnagar area in
Uttar Pradesh India.
Chemical Used: Acetic acid, H2SO4, lead acetate,
distrilled water.
The proximate composition of Tinospora cordifolia was
determine by using the below described methods.

Result and discussion
Preperation of barley Water:
Preparation of barley water ratio is 80:10:24, 80ml water, 10 ml sample, 24
hrs soaking time. after soaking collect the fresh water and removed waste
sample.
Preperation of Stem Tinospora cordifolia Value added food Product:
Development of value added food product by using of barley water with
stem powder tinospora cordifolia carefully using the dose response of giloy
podwer.
Making 3 sample 40ml, 80ml, 120ml added podwer .10g, .2g, .4g well mixed
for 10 mintutes. After that adding the preservation in the sample according to
food safety standardrization and authority of India.
Sodium benzoate is used as preservative of their samples.very small amount
of preservative used in goloy juice

Incorporation of fresh and dehydrated stem mixture of
barley water and Giloy will enhance the nutritive value of
traditional recipes by improving their micronutrient
content.
Incorporation of dehydrated stem mixture powder in
various recepies can be helpful for therapeutic purposes
and can be included in the diets of people with various
diseases like anti-inflammatory, diarrhea, dysentery,
Immune enhanced, antioxidant. it is recommended to be
included in the diet of all age groups because of its healthy
benefits.
