Company : Reliance’s Jamnagar manufacturing complex is the first fully integrated manufacturing
complex in the world to house a petroleum refinery complex (Crude, FCC, Coker, Hydrogen, Merox,
Sulfur) , a Petrochemical complex (Aromatics,PP), a power generation complex (CPP, Utility), a port
& terminal complex (RTF, MTF,RRTF) and a pipeline network. With 1.24 million barrels per day
(MBPD) of crude processing capacity, Reliance is the largest refiner at any single location in the
world. The Process Licensors are M/s UOP and EPC was done by M/s BECHTEL.
Department: Electrical (Crude Complex)
Crude complex of the Refinery has two identical trains, each designed to process 325,000
BPSD of Crude oil. Crude unit produces streams of LPG, Full range Naphtha, Light and Heavy
Kerosene, Diesel, Vacuum gas oil and Vacuum residue which are sent either for further
treatment/blending or for secondary processing. Each train of crude complex consists of Crude
distillation Unit, Saturate gas concentration unit, Diesel hydrotreater unit, and Vacuum gas Oil
Hydrotreater unit
